Double Trouble Challenge #197

 Here's a switch!

A new Double Trouble Challenge is posted on Mondays, every other week and I regularly participate.  For this challenge #197, which runs from Aug. 4th - Aug. 17th,  I've been asked to join the fun as a Crazy Cousin.

The 3-2-1 Challenge Recipe is below:

Here's my "You're in the Spotlight" card:

using Pink, Green, and Yellow, a mat layer, a stamped layer plus a popped up circle of black glitter paper with the colored spotlighted layer on top.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Now, make sure you pop over to the Double Trouble Challenge to see the wonderful cards made by the Trouble #1, Trouble #2, Trouble #3 and the talented Sneeches.  Then swing over to Try a Sketch on Tuesday  to see sketch #676, which posts on Aug. 5th, and gain extra chances in the DTC random drawing.

Here's the sketch from Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge

Their design team made some very pretty cards.  You might want to take a look and enter both challenges!

Good luck!

Send a Smile 4 Kids August 2025 Challenge

The theme for the August Challenge at

Follow SAS4Kids on Facebook!
is
"Anything Goes".

Anything Goes for kids is always acceptable.
We just want to see your wonderful creations
and hope you enjoy making and sharing them!

Do you save scraps?  I do.  Long skinny strips of paper are so useful.  I have a separate container just for them.  This card layout is perfect for 1/4" strips.  There are several versions of this card on Pinterest and Facebook and I have been wanting to try it.

The cute little robot, gears, and sentiment are stamps from a
SU Paper Pumpkin kit.  I think I'll make a few more of these with different shapes and stamps.  Super fun to make!
And I think it will put a smile on some child's face.

It would be great if you joined the fun at the
(Cards only, please.)
Your cards need not be donated, but if you plan to do so, check the current needs of the volunteers and the deadlines on the Send A Smile 4 Kids Blog.

Please take some time and visit the fabulous blogs of my teammates.  They work so hard and are very creative!

Oh, don't leave yet!
I have another card to share before I put it in the SAS4Kids box.

Everything on this card was just cluttering up my work table.
I think I have enough empty space to do some sewing now.

Thanks for visiting!
