I love you "Snow" much!

For this I decided to use a new snowman die that I picked up last year.  First, I needed to separate all the little (and I'm not exaggerating when I say little) die pieces.  I have a small jewelry nipper that works wonderfully.  However, when I snipped the little nose from inside the hat, it flew.  I had no idea where.  And my work table was so cluttered, my hopes of finding it were small.  I went through piles, I moved things around, I shook things, I crawled around on the floor, I checked my shoes and then decided I was perfectly capable of cutting out a snowman nose without the die.  And that's exactly what I did.

It would be great if you joined the fun at the
December Challenge.

BTW  I found the die a few days later laying on the carpet.
I never thought I'd see that again!

Double Trouble Challenge # 204

Here's my card for Double Trouble Challenge #204,

3-2-1 Recipe "It's a Tall Order"

It is a mini slimline card with multiple images and blue, red and green and follows the sketch at Try a Sketch on Tuesday,

I used an embossing folder of Trees, for something starting with "T".
Double Trouble Challenge #204       and       Try a Sketch on Tuesday #683.

Did you notice the strip of different papers going down the left side of the card? Often when you purchase a pad of paper there are tiny samples on the front of the pad.  I never throw those away.  They come in handy for cards like this.

Thanks for the visit!

Instead of coloring the bear,  I did a bit of paper piecing.

Do you think I should turn that sentiment around so that it reads downward?

I never know which way to put it vertically.

Thanks for visiting.

Double Trouble Challenge # 202

First, I want to thank everyone who popped over to my blog to comment on my previous card.  I was so disappointed when I realized I had missed a recipe item and couldn't enter it in the challenge.  But you gals were so wonderful and encouraging.

Thank you.

I found a little window of time (I can clean the bathroom another day.  It's not like I'm expecting company or anything.) and made a second card,

which I'll be entering in the Double Trouble 3-2-1 Recipe, Shades of Fall and the Pearly Sparkles Challenge #112, Pumpkins and/or Autumn Leaves.

Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by.

Any volunteers to clean my bathroom?

Special Birthday Card

Yesterday I came across 2 pieces of A2 sized patterned paper that a friend sent to me last year.  I thought it would make a lovely birthday card for my DIL, whose birthday falls on Halloween.  Usually I go with a Halloween theme for her card.  But I thought I'd go with more of an autumn theme this year.  I like how it turned out.

I had planned to share this at Double Trouble Challenge # 202

Shades of Fall.  However, I am missing one of the required recipe ingredients (stenciled or dry embossed element).

But I will enter it in the October

Pearly Sparkles Challenge Blog #112 -

Pumpkins and/or Autumn Leaves.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
