It's Tuesday and I have a new card for
Tuesday Morning Sketches to share with you.
Melissa Craig supplied this week's sketch. Thanks, Melissa!
One of my friends is celebrating her birthday today. I thought I'd combine the occasion with my TMS card and make it extra special.
The card is actually a simple design, but decorating the envelope is something I normally forget to do.
Here is the inside of the card.
Now I had not planned on decorating the back of the card.
Unfortunately, I laid the card down at the wrong spot and the back had some blemishes.
It's not so easy to add sparkles or sequins to cover those little oopsies when they are on the back. I used extra strong glue on this card in case Laurie was tempted to take it apart to reuse it.
She would certainly be surprised at what lies beneath!
I hope you'll play along at
Tuesday Morning Sketches
this week.
It would be lovely if you had the time to visit the blogs of my TMS teammates and leave them a virtual hug.
You can be sure that one of us will be visiting yours!

I love poppies!! Your paper and stamps are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI really hope no one ever takes apart one of my cards... they'd find some interesting things hidden! LOL
Hello, Debi! Your card is stunning, absolutely beautiful! I am impressed with how you decorated the envelope, the inside, and even the back, gorgeous! I can't say that I've ever taken apart someone else's handmade card; is that a thing? I've certainly taken apart enough of my own though! You asked about the woodgrain background on my owl card and it's actually a die from Lawn Fawn that cuts the stitched woodgrain. Enjoy your day! It's beautiful here, sunshine and not too hot.
ReplyDeleteThis is very pretty. I love the save on the back and the way you've done the envelope to match. Thanks for joining us at Sparkles Monthly Challenge. Love Dawn x
