Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #746

Welcome to my blog, where I have
a new card to share with you each week for

 Tuesday Morning Sketches

Here's the sketch with which we'd like to challenge you this week.

The design team was instructed to
think brush strokes for those rectangles below the focal point.

Unfortunately, I neglected to bring any brushes with me to our winter home.  But I did bring my box of ink cubes, which I used instead.  This card could be used as a Father's Day card or a birthday card.
(Papers and stamps are from a SU Paper Pumpkin kit.)

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #745

Welcome to my blog, where I have
a new card to share with you each week for

 Tuesday Morning Sketches
The sketch for this week is another great one to use paper scraps.

That's what I did.

The card above is actually my second effort.  I started another card and then the idea I had had didn't quite work.  But eventually I went back to it and I'm happy with the result.

Double Trouble Challenge #160

Here's my card for the Hoodie-Hoo celebration at

Double Trouble Challenge

It's a center step card, made with lots of scraps, and a cute bunny from SU.

If you are wondering what Hoodie-Hoo Day is, hop on over to the Double Trouble Challenge to read about it and maybe join the fun.

Since DTC is partnered with Creative Creases Challenge #76 for their 3rd Anniversary,  I'll also be entering my card there.

Thanks for visiting!

Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenges #744

Welcome to my blog, where I have
a new card to share with you each week for

 Tuesday Morning Sketches

This week's sketch is new for 2024.

I've made a simple 'Thinking of You' card.

I love this shade of blue.  The small bunch of flowers was fussy cut from the opposite side of the SU patterned paper.

Twisted Pop-up Valentine Card

Several weeks ago I attempted to make a twisted pop up card to send to a little one who is battling cancer.  But, everything that could go wrong, went wrong.  I dissected that card and turned it into a step card.

I thought I'd try again with a Valentine, following a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers.

In fact, it was so simple this time that I made a second one

for my 4 great granddaughters.

Challenges I am playing:

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Love is in the Air

Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Valentine's or Galentine's Day (animals are stamped)

Creative Creases Challenge - AG with a fun fold

Double Trouble Challenge - Love is in the Air (Hot air balloon paper)

Thanks for visiting!
