Double Trouble Challenge #13

Some Thing, Any Thing and Every Thing is the theme of this week's theme at the Double Trouble Challenge.
Thing 1 says this week's challenge is a Free For All.
Thing 2 wants to see a number.
And Thing 3 would like to see your card in one of the challenges listed on the blog.

It just so happens we have a 100th Birthday Celebration to attend next Sunday.  Here is the card I've made for Super Grammy as she is affectionately called by her grandchildren.
I really had a free for all with this card.  Hope I didn't over do it with lots of layers, a skirt fold, punched borders, die cuts, cricut cut numbers, two CTMH stamps, a few star gems, and a bow.
All that wouldn't fit on an A2 card.  This is an A6.

Challenges:
Double Trouble Challenge #13 - Something, Anything & Everything
Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Pumpkin Spice (I've used the color and am enjoying a Pumpkin Spice cappuccino as I am typing this.)
Seize the Birthday Challenge - Birthday with optional foliage (There's a bit in the dp.)

There's a new challenge starting at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge today.
The theme for this challenge is Crazy Circles.
With Halloween just a week away and Thanksgiving not long after that, I thought I'd make cards for each occasion using the Pick a Pumpkin stamp set and the Simply Seasonal sentiment stamp set available at the

The baker's twine also came from Newton's Nook, nicely wrapped around my order.

Double Trouble Challenge #12 - Week 2

Lurking in one of my sticker stash drawers was a sheet of cute felt goblins, which I decided to use for this week's Double Trouble Halloween/Fall Challenge # 12.  I used two of the goblins last week and the other two today.  In that seemingly bottomless sticker stash drawer, I also found some frames to use on one card, as they were requested by Twisted Sister this week.  The other card has a die cut frame.  And I've also linked upped with the Paper Girls Challenge, this week's Double Dare.

Crazy Birds Happy Birthday

My younger brother's birthday is next week.  But I need to get his card in the mail by Saturday for him to get it in time.  No time like the present to get one made.
Papers, punch, and enamel dots are from CTMH; stamps are from the Tim Holtz Crazy Bird collection from Stampers Anonymous; and the die cut is from  Die-versions.
The birds are fussy cut and paper pieced.

Joyful Stars Close to My Heart October Blog Hop

Welcome to the October

Close to My Heart Joyful Stars Blog Hop.

Have some fun hopping between the blogs of this group of talented Close to My Heart consultants, and me, where we share creative projects using CTMH products.

Today I'm sharing a gatefold shutter card with you.
I wanted to make something special for a wonderful young man who just celebrated his 14th birthday on Friday.

This is actually a fairly simple card to make
and the effect of the center eye opening is great!
You'll find an easy to follow tutorial here

The papers are from the CTMH Grateful Heart Paper Packet.
Cricut cuts are from CTMH cartridges.
Now, since this is a blog hop,
you might have arrived here from  Andrea Sherman's blog.
Your next stop is Marie Flayer's blog.

The hop is circular.
If you are just starting here,
simply continue hopping until you find your way back,
making the full circle.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Double Trouble Challenge #11 - Card 2

Last week I made a card for the Double Trouble Challenge, but opted not to use the twist.  I really felt bad about letting twisted sister down.  I hope I can make it up to her with this card.

For Trouble Maker I've used Black & White and only one other color.
For Double Dare I am also entering the Crafter's Cafe Challenge.
Most importantly, for Twisted Sister I've included a guy's wheelie toy.
And just for good measure
(actually, by mistake because I forgot it was supposed to be for a guy, and what guy has a thistle colored VW with little white flowers?
here's a more feminine version.

The stamp set with VW die is from Taylored Expressions.
I used a CTMH stamp to add the flowers to the black and white polka dot background paper.

Challenges I am entering
Double Trouble Challenge #11 - Black & white + one; entry in Crafter's Cafe Challenge; wheelie toys
Crafter's Cafe Challenge - Black & white + one
Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge # 151 - AG w/ option for boys/men
Crafty Chicks Challenge #423 - Something Old is New Again (I've had this stamp set for years.)
Dies R Us Challenge #106 - AG with a Metal Die (I've used an old die from TE)

This is my second post for today.  Come back later tonight to see what I made for the October Joyful Stars Blog Hop.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #413 - Anything Goes

It's time to make my annual Halloween Birthday Card for my daughter-in-law.  And since this week's Tuesday Throwdown Challenge is Anything Goes, I decided to make it a bit early and use it as my design team card.

I've used washi tape, glitter tape, and a scalloped punched border to dress up an otherwise CAS card.  The die cut circle is from a small scrap sheet of dp mounted on a punched scalloped circle.  The sentiment is from a freebie stamp set.  And the orange pearls were
originally white before being colored with a marker.

What are you working on this week?
We'd love to see you share it with us at
Anything Goes!

I am entering this card in a two of my favorite challenges.....
Always Happy Birthday October Challenge - Birthday Anything Goes
and
A Perfect Time to Craft October Challenge - Anything Goes

Have a great day!
