Double Trouble Challenge #1

There's a new kid in town, or new challenge to be more precise.
It's called Double Trouble
The first part of the challenge is to use 2 or more patterned papers.
And the second part of the challenge is to also enter your card in the current Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

This adorable Rubberneckers stamp has been on my work table since I bought it back in the beginning of April.  So I got to try out the stamp and use up some scrap paper at the same time.
Double Trouble may just replace Mojo Monday in my heart.
 I do miss Mojo Monday.

Need some Fresh Air?

To be more specific, do you need some of the
new Close to My Heart Fresh Air patterned paper?
That's where I got the paper I used on the front of this
birthday card.

This diagonal fold card was super simple to make.
There is an easy to follow video here.
If you only glue the bottom edge of the left triangle when you fold it over, as I did on this card, it forms a pocket for cash or a gift card.

What are you busy creating right now?
I hope you'll enter it in the
Anything Goes!

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Seize the Birthday Challenge - Patterned Paper
CRAFT Challenge #469 - Father's Day/Male
4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #404 - Masculine Birthday
Brown Sugar Challenge # 278- Father's Day/Masculine

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #393 with Sparkle n Sprinkle

When my hubby and I were married, 36 years ago today, I carried soft peach and cream roses in my bouquet.
Knowing that I would be posting this card on our anniversary,
when this week's Tuesday Throwdown sponsor,
gifted the Tuesday Throwdown Design Team members with an image, I chose the Christmas Candles Digital Stamp Set to make this anniversary card.

We are playing Tic Tac Toe this week at the

I've followed the diagonal line from upper left to lower right.
Be sure to check it out the Sparkle N Sprinkle store for lots of fabulous products.
And don't forget to visit the Tuesday Throwdown blog to see what my teammates have created just for you.  I'm sure you'll want to join in the fun!

Challenges I am entering:
Shopping Our Stash Challenge #355 - April Showers bring May Flowers

Father's Day Card Marathon

This past week I concentrated on filling a box with Father's Day cards to mail off to Send a Smile 4 Kids.
(Anne, I promise they will go to the PO on Monday.  I wanted to add a few cards from one of the other Musketeers first.)
One of the Father's Day sentiments in the Joy Clair Dad's Day clear stamp set has a Star Wars reference.  I just couldn't resist trying to make the Yoda that was featured on a card by Sarah Jane Rae and pinned on Pinterest.
Happy I be that this turned out so well.
(I think that's how Yoda would say it?)

While Sarah Jane used Stampin' Up products to fashion her Yoda, I used shapes from the CTMH cricut cartridges to make mine.

Challenges:
Sunsational Stamps May Challenge - Father's Day/Masculine
Scribbles Design Challenge #65 - Make It Masculine
Brown Sugar Challenge #278 - Father's Day/Masculine

Joyful Stars Close to My Heart May Blog Hop

Welcome to the May

Close to My Heart Joyful Stars Blog Hop.

Have some fun hopping between the blogs of this group of talented Close to My Heart consultants, and me, where we share creative projects using CTMH products.
We have new neighbors across the street, who will be receiving this card along with a plate of homemade cookies.

These are papers from the new CTMH catalog along with cricut cuts from the CTMH Flower Market cartridge.

Now, since this is a blog hop,

you might have arrived here from  Michelle Loncar's blog.
Your next stop is Marie Flayer's blog.

The hop is circular.

If you are just starting here, simply continue hopping until you find your way back,

making the full circle.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #391 with Sweet n Sassy

This week we are making shaped cards for the

My DH and I attend a lot of soccer games to watch our grandson.  At this time of year, the soccer moms are wearing their pretty boots to walk in the often wet grass.
That was my inspiration for this shaped card featuring the
tulips digital stamp from Sweet n Sassy, our sponsor this month.

This is a top fold card.  The tulips were printed directly on the yellow paper.  After coloring them with markers, I put a piece of  gold foil adhesive over top for an easy shiny, glittery effect, before adhering the red border.

Sweet'n Sassy Stamps is a small, family-owned, Christian company offering exclusive images, designs and sentiments in both clear and digital stamps. They also carry a small number of exclusive die designs, some of which coordinate with their stamps. A wonderful Bible Journaling line of stamps is also available.

I hope you'll join us at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge thisweek with a shaped card of your own. My wonderful teamies all have creations of their own to show you.

And, please don't forget to stop by Sweet n Sassy Stamps to check  out more of the great items available.
