Drafty here

I'm glad this penguin, a digi image by Connie Fong, is all bundled up because it has been in my draft folder.

Did you know that if you are writing a post and do not hit the orange Publish button when you are finished, the blog post is saved in your draft folder?
I thought I had published this card, which was to be my entry in the Double Trouble Challenge #42, and in reality I never did.
Senior Moment!
It's too late for that challenge but it will be perfect for the following challenges:
Cuttlebug Mania Challenge - Animals (The pretty white lacey layer was die cut on my Cuttlebug.)
Crafty Catz Challenge #484 - AG with option of spots and/or stripes
Dragonfly Dreams Challenge - Christmas/Winter

Way Behind at Beccy's Place

Finding time to make a daily Christmas card for Beccy's Place November Holiday Card Challenge has been a little hard this year.  Consequently, I am way behind.  It's an alphabetical challenge but I'm skipping around.  Here's a card using a colored digital image (by Beccy) of an "I"ce skate inside a die cut frame.

Double Trouble Challenge #43 Card 2

Somehow I missed making a card for DTC #42.
Therefore, I've made a second card for DTC #43.
It has glitter, and a snowman and is also entered at
The digi image is from Beccy's Place
and the sentiment is a CTMH stamp.

Additional challenges I am entering:
As You Like It Challenge - Favorite way to add snow and why (I like the glitter brushes to add snow because it's a no mess way to get the glittery look.  This snowman has a good coating of clear Wink of Stella.  I also like to use glitter paper for die cut snowflakes.  I have a teeny die that made the 1/2" flakes on this card.  It's perfect to use on teeny glitter paper scraps.)
Crafty Catz Challenge #484 - AG with optional stripes (scarf) and spots (on the poinsettias)
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge #465 - AG Christmas with option of something beginning with an "R"  (Red
Beccy's Place November Holiday Cards Challenge - "S" for snowman. snowflakes, scarf, spotted poinsettias

Double Trouble Challenge # 43

Bling, Glitz, Glitter, a Snowman and Cupcake Inspiration.
This card has all that.
And it's my entry for the Double Trouble Challenge #43.
It's also the first chance I've gotten to make a card for Beccy's Place November Challenge.   This is for the letter "o" challenge, Day 17.  I've perched a snowy white owl on the sentiment banner.

More Challenges:

Dragonfly Dreams Challenge - Christmas/Winter
613 Avenue Create Challenge #227 - AG, option- Scrap Your Stash (Other than the card base, everything else on the card was made with scraps.)

Snowflake pieces everywhere!

The die cut snowflakes are so pretty, but the teeny, tiny pieces that contribute to their beauty can make a bit of a mess.  I've been preparing for a class and have done a lot of die cutting.  The mess was basically contained until.... my great granddaughter spent the afternoon here.  Heaven only knows why I said to her, "would you like to make some snowflakes?" and introduced her to my Cuttlebug.  Her mother came and took her home about an hour ago.  I just got done vacuuming.

I made this card yesterday from some of the card class kit leftovers.
The Warmest Wishes! sentiment is easier to see in person.

Challenges:
Dream Valley Challenge #213 - All That Glitters
Artsystamper Challenge #3 - Monochromatic
Fab n Funky Challenge #407 - Add some sparkle

Blog Hop Leftovers

If you check my previous post for the CTMH Joyful Stars Blog Hop, you may notice that the gift cards are held in place by tiny circles, folded in four, one section removed and then glued together.  Consequently, I had a perfectly good piece of patterned paper with four holes in it.

I used a few other scraps and CTMH stamps to make a card for one of the December birthdays in my book.  Even the little cups are tiny scraps of paper paper pieced together.

Challenges:
Craft Rocket Challenge #65 - Happy Birthday
Make My Monday Challenge #109 - Red, Green and White
613 Avenue Create Challenge #227 - Anything Goes w/ option of Scraps

Joyful Stars Close to My Heart November Blog Hop

Welcome to the November

Close to My Heart Joyful Stars Blog Hop.
Have some fun hopping between the blogs of this group of talented Close to My Heart consultants, and me, where we share creative projects using CTMH products.

Have you ever made a twist card?
Today I'd like to share a few twist gift card holders using several of the new CTMH papers.  These are just like a normal twist card, only the dimensions are smaller.

Here are the dimensions I used to make these three cards:

Now, since this is a blog hop,
you might have arrived here from  Marie Flayer's blog.
Your next stop is Stephanie Huber's FB page.

The hop is circular.
If you are just starting here,
simply continue hopping until you find your way back,

Send a Smile 4 Kids November Challenge

There is a new challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids!

The November theme is Holiday Cards 4 Kids

or Anything Goes 4 Kids .
In my Christmas stash, there are various leftovers from last year, papers in many shapes and sizes, die cuts, digi images and embellishments.  Using a few of those items and the current Mojo Monday Sketch, I created this card:
This card will go to a SAS4K volunteer who will send it on to a children's hospital for patient use.
If you are interested in making and donating cards to SAS4K, you can find all the information you need right here.
 I hope you'll enter this month's SAS4K Challenge.
We love to see your wonderful creations and visit your blogs.
