Llama Thanks

After being out and about most of the day, but unable to nap, 
I relaxed at my craft table. 

Using scraps on my table, I put together this Thank You card.

The stamps are from CTMH 

and the scrap papers are from a KaiserCraft Gypsy Rose paper pack,

all on a kraft card base.

It's Tuesday, 

which means I have a card for

Tuesday Morning Sketches 

to share with you.

 

This week we are using the very first sketch that appeared for the very first Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge 11 years ago.

Look familiar?

There is a box in my stash labeled matching patterned paper pieces, full of sandwich bags with dribs and drabs from various paper packs.  Each bag has the name of the paper pack and the ink colors that match the papers.  This particular group of papers I have used, sadly now retired, is called Magical from CTMH.   

It is a really fun paper pack deserving of an equally fun card.

The little camera was cut on the cricut.

Hi there!  Welcome to my blog.

This morning I sat down at my crafty dining room table to make a card for the newest Double Trouble Challenge.

They have a Tic Tac Toe Puzzle Challenge 

to get you started

and are partnering with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.

 

 I needed one more birthday card this month, which gave me a theme.

I almost forgot to mention that Twisted Sister would like to see a lot of bling.

 Keeping all of that in mind, I started to make my card.

I always look around my table first to see if there are any scraps I can use.  There sat a pile of fabric scraps, leftovers from some masks I've been making.  I picked up a piece of material with pretty summer daisies on it and proceeded to put together this card.

I think I'll send the mask along with the card.

It has a pretty green fabric lining and is reversible.

My friend will like it, I'm sure.

The sketch from the Stella Says Sketch Challenge works perfectly for a gate fold card.  I just turned the gate fold on its side.

Here's a very easy CAS card I made with the help of the

Rudy Reindeer digital image from 2 Cute Ink.

I colored Rudy with pencils, added some glitter gel on the snow, and placed the snowflake die cut in the corner.

Sweet Christmas Wishes

Doodle Pantry really had some adorable digital images.

I've used a colored version to make this super simple Christmas card.

A friend of mine once made a gingerbread house with her children.  It turned out so awesome that she thought she'd save it in her attic for the next year.  Turned out to be a not so good idea.  She didn't get ants but she did get another weird bug, all over her house.  It took a while until she discovered the source.  That gingerbread house wasn't looking very awesome any more!

Teddy Bear Joy

It's almost time for the Catch the Bug Christmas in July Challenge.   Thought I'd do a practice run by making a card for this week's Catch the Bug Color Challenge.

 

Here's a closeup that shows off the sparkle of the card.

The digi image was printed on white and kraft card stock.  Then the bear and the word JOY were fussy cut from the kraft and glued onto the white. The cup and hat were colored with pencils.  The edging around the circle was done with a marker.  The circle was punched and both ovals were die cut and then embossed.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and will be enter that challenge as well.
