Happy Monday!!!!
While my husband and son are out golfing, I thought I'd quickly get my Mojo Monday card done.  This Birthday Card seemed appropriate.

Instead of using a circle shape on the card front, as in the sketch, I decided to punch a circle in the card front so the little golf bag was visible.

Can't decide if I want to color the golf bag or not.  What do you think?
I was going to stamp "So Sorry for your Loss" inside and have it ready to send out to my son.  I'm pretty sure my hubby will beat him.  Would that be too mean?   I think I'll go make another one.  Just in case.

Only did a couple simple cards today.  (I wanted to show off these pretty ribbons I found.)  They could be used for a lot of different occasions.

Having a blog is a real learning experience.
I just figured out how to add the "followers" section to my blog.   So how about following me?
I will try to post as often as I can and continue to share my little projects.

Today I worked on some wedding/anniversary cards.

The CTMH card class was wonderful yesterday, as always.   Good friends, good fun, and great cards.

(I had a small stamping mishap with the Thank You card, but it recovered with a little help from my friends.
Can you tell?  Hope not. )

So this is what I was working on yesterday....

The first two pictures are of a card with multiple folds.  Haven't decided yet for what occasion I'll use it.  Any suggestions?

The next picture I plan to submit to Mojo Monday.  I love making the crocheted flowers as embellishments.

And the last picture is of 2 card fronts I pieced together with scraps from the first 2 cards.  I find it easier to quickly make card fronts while I have the coordinating pieces all together.  If I file the scraps away, they seem to get lost.  (By the way, these are Kathy Knight papers and were a freebie that came with Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine.)

In case you were curious......

My father made this jewelry box for me when I was 15 (over 40 years ago).  Since I do my stamping, papercrafting in my dining room, and I wasn't using the jewlery box, I decided to refinish it and use it to store embellishments, etc.  It is a constant reminder of my father, who I dearly love;  it looks nice in the dining room; and is an ideal spot to prop up my cards to photograph.

This afternoon is my CTMH card class.  Can't wait to see what we'll make today.

Setting up this blog

OK - so I'm pretty good at finding stuff that might look good on a card and that's what I wanted to share with you.  Setting up a blog, however, is a whole other story.   I don't even know what half the jargon means.  So give me some time and I'll do my best to learn how blogging works.  And, in the process, I'll share some of my cards and other projects with you.

Here's what I was working on yesterday -
A double pocket card using a new stamp set I won in the Sparkle N Sprinkle Christmas in July Blog Hop Contest.
Since both my brothers married in December, this cute couple will be great for winter anniversary cards.

I also made this ornament.

I saw one similar online and it was a bit time consuming but didn't turn out toooo bad.
I used Close To My Heart stamp set CC1015 Holiday Wishes, and CTMH cranberry and ponderosa pine inks to stamp the pattern on the ornaments.

Well, I actually made my first post.  Unbelievable.
