Double Double Trouble

This is the second card I've made for the current

Double Trouble Challenge #187

Something, Anything and Everything

For the recipe part of the challenge I have used one bow, two colors (red and green) and 3 clusters of holly and berries.

Thing #1 has requested everyone to make a Holiday Card.

(I have my Easter cards finished, so decided to make an early Christmas card.)

Thing #2 would like to see us follow the sketch from the Alternative Challenge,

Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #666

And for Thing #3, I will note TSOT next to my entry link and enter their challenge, too.

Hope you get inspired and play along.

Piano Card

This card is for a May birthday.  I know that I am getting ahead of myself a little bit, but I saw a piano card online and knew it would be perfect for a friend of mine.  I had to improvise a little bit to make the tiny butterflies.  Two of my friend's favorites are purple and butterflies.

Think she'll like it?

BTW, I am submitting this to the new challenge at Double Trouble,

Something, Anything and Everything

For the recipe part of the challenge I have used one bow, two colors (purple and green) and 3 tiny butterflies.

I think of a birthday as a "personal" holiday.

This card has also been submitted to  the

Festive Friday Challenge #FF0180 Piano Day.

I have used 3 of the inspiration items, black, white, and musical notes.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Hope you had a crafty day!

More Double Trouble - Pinch Proof

The new challenge at Double Trouble was, indeed, a challenge for me.

We are snowbirds and I travel with only a small stash of card making supplies.  And because I am always an overachiever and want to make all the Troubles happy, I needed to think out of the box for

Challenge #186 3-2-1 Recipe "Pinch Proof"

 https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-68jVYZI-FAs6lHmz6Qz0w-KyPu_5Zej3EkmnbnKuGl2w6DLN83WHtMDxCre00JcnphuYSDhhmAlNL6qS7k7gU862skmeLSC0JKdCCU5d1A3hqIHKWNwXVsg8ws47agwWiKJgcQnca4OR7z4CL6pKx4f8mVviDlHSjEMoU-GQcnNVMk0ECtC8D9CIR4x9/s570/Thing%201%20186%20Kitchen%20Ingredients%20copy.jpg

Thing #1's recipe posed my first problem.  I have no stencils here.  Using some dies I made two of my own, one a row of triangles and the other scattered leaves.

Using the sketch from Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #665, Thing #2's  request, was easy.

But Thing #3's idea to use shamrocks was almost a deal, or should I say challenge, breaker!  And then I had an epiphany and was able to comply.  Can you find my 3 shamrocks?

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.
