a new card to share with you each week for
Before I forget to post it ....
Here is the card I made for the
January Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge.
All Dressed Up has generously supplied this really cute digi image called Rainbow Girl, for free, to all the participants in last month's Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge. I used markers to color the image, a die to cut it, and a punch for the sentiment ovals. This card was made specifically for the current Double Trouble Challenge #101. I missed the last challenge and made it a point not to miss this one!
My card uses 3 patterned papers, has a cute penguin (a digi from 2 cute ink), and follows the sketch at Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #539.
Today I thought I'd play with a few of the new items in my stash.
I cased a fun fold card I saw on pinterest, following the instructions I found here.
The circle dies and lattice rectangle dies are both from Spellbinders.

It was just the week before Christmas that we celebrated my great-granddaughter's first birthday. Today we are celebrating the 3rd birthday of her older sister, Lahna.
She should like this card.
The papers, including the sentiments and cute elephant, are from a paper pack by The Paper Boutique called Wild and Wonderful.
I used the same paper and same design for her 1st birthday card and her 2nd birthday card.
I traced the three from a stencil and handcut all but the top section where I die cut the "THREE" using dies from MFT.

Here's a picture of Lahna from Halloween.
It is so hard to get her to stand still!
