Trouble Maker will be pleased to see that for this card, I used a circle punch, a border punch and a die. For Twisted Sister, I used a digi image of a Parachuting Pig by Gerda Steiner. He's so cute. And finally, the challenge partner this week is I Spy With My Little Eye something on or from a farm.
Christmas cards are my current focus.
This card will be donated to Send A Smile 4 Kids.
Hello, all you crafty people!
Today I want to share a card that I made for the current challenge at Double Trouble. The theme for Challenge #148 is "Any Way You Punch It".
I've used dies for my card for Trouble Maker. Twisted Sister would like to see farm animals on the cards this week. Naturally, my mind went to sheep since there is a sheep farm very close to us. And finally, the challenge partner this week is I Spy With My Little Eye something on or from a farm.
Christmas cards are my current focus.
How do you like this one?
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
There is just one card left to put into the box of cards that is headed to Send A Smile 4 Kids and I'm waiting for the Liquid Glass (CTMH product) to dry on the balloons.
In the meantime, I thought I'd share a couple cards with you.
A few weeks ago, I made an A2 card similar to this one for the little boy next door. I should have made 2 right then, because there is another very special young man celebrating his birthday today. Of course, I didn't think of that then. So here is the special birthday card I made for Leif.
The gloss on the balloons is finally dry, so I am off to the Post Office....

Once again, what I envision at 3am (instead of sleeping) often doesn't work when I get to my craft table later in the day.
Don't get me wrong, I like the final result but needed to make a few changes along the way.
My goal was to make a card for the current
Double Trouble Challenge Oh My Gourd Color Challenge.
First I made a sample card to see if my idea would work.
Using strips of papers in fall colors, I made the background. Actually, I made 2 so I had one to use as a sample. Then I die cut a leaf, popped it up with foam tape and put it back in the space.

Inspiration Station September Challenge, Prompt #53.
How could I not make a card with a pumpkin, after seeing this!
I could spend hours making backgrounds with little paper strips.
They are so much fun.
Now that I think about it, I already spend hours doing just that!
Thanks for visiting.
Later this month, my older brother will be receiving this card, based on today's sketch.
