Tuesday Throwdown Challenge # 407 with Sweet n Sassy Stamps

Today I am sharing some inspiration for this week's
where the theme is Splatter It.
Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is
I used the Let's Go Fishing Puppy Digital Stamp.

I hope you'll join us at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge this week with something you have splattered. My wonderful teamies all have creations of their own to show you and would be so happy if you would take the time to visit their blogs and leave them a splattering of love.

And, in case you aren't familiar with our sponsor...

Sweet'n Sassy Stamps is a small, family-owned, Christian company offering exclusive images, designs and sentiments in both clear and digital stamps. They also carry a small number of exclusive die designs, some of which coordinate with their stamps. A wonderful Bible Journaling line of stamps is also available.

Double Tower Card

Here's a card fold that was new to me, a Double Tower Card.

The stamp set and papers are new CTMH products.

Once a month I make a card for the heARTful stamping challenge
Generally, I try to make something special, often a fancy fold.  I spied this fold on Pinterest, and a tutorial on Samantha Clayton's Mixed Up Craft blog.  It's actually very simple to make.  And using a 5 1/2" x 8 1/4" piece of cs as your base, it is A2 size when completed.

Challenges:
That's Crafty Challenge - Animal Magic
Aud Sentiments Challenge #210 - Anything Goes + a Sentiment
DLArt Thankful Thursday Challenge # 234 - Summer or Thank You
Di's Digi Designs Challenge - Fancy Folds
Crafty Friends Challenge #91 - Animals/Birds
Pile It On Challenge #145 - New technique and/or oldest stash
Scor-pal More Than One Score Challenge #51 - Heat of the Summer

Birthday and CTMH Card Class 8/21/2018

Sitting on my table is a box of cards already made except for a sentiment and appropriate embellishments.  I make them to use up scraps when I only have a few leftover pieces of dp.  They really come in handy when I need a quick card, like this birthday card for my sister-in-law.

Creations in Pink Challenge #1 - AG in Pink (except for the bit of lime and brown, it's all pink right down to the card base)

It's been a month since I was able to go to Joyce's CTMH card class.  Here are three of the cards we made yesterday:

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #405 with Fred She Said Stamps

Tuesday Throwdown is a sketch challenge this week,
one of my favorite types of challenge.
And our sponsor is Fred She Said, another of my favorites.
They very generously gave everyone on the design team one of their digi stamps for our projects this week.  I chose the Kitty & the Ornament digital stamp.  It comes colored and uncolored and with or without a bow.
For my first card I used the colored version with the bow.
Isn't this kitty adorable?
Here's a second card, also the colored version, except I added some color to the cat's fur so it would look better with the gold tones of the paper I wanted to use.

Here's the sketch you need to follow to join in the fun at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge  this week:

My Tuesday Throwdown Team B teamies all made fabulous cards using a variety of digis to inspire you to enter this week's challenge and stop by Fred She Said to see their wonderful images.

Joyful Stars Close to My Heart August Blog Hop

Welcome to the August
Close to My Heart Joyful Stars Blog Hop.

Have some fun hopping between the blogs of this group of talented Close to My Heart consultants, and me, where we share creative projects using CTMH products.
Rumor has it there's a new CTMH catalog with all kinds of wonderful new products.
Unfortunately, I've been sick and have yet to pick up my catalog from Joyce.
I'm sure the consultants in the blog hop will have projects to inspire and tempt you (and me) to check out the new catalog and do some shopping.

Today I've made a card using the Documented Paper Pack which has been out for a while.
The layout was cased from a card my friend, Tracey, made.
The inside reads "Welcome to the Neighborhood".

Now, since this is a blog hop,

you might have arrived here from  Andrea Sherman's blog.
Your next stop is Marie Flayer's blog.

The hop is circular.  If you are just starting here, simply continue hopping until you find your way back,

making the full circle.

If you get lost, the complete list of participants is on
Joyce's blog.

Double Trouble Challenge #7

This week's theme at Double Trouble Challenge is The Dog Days of Summer.  It has been so hot and muggy in this neck of the woods, I really hate leaving the AC.  When it is bearable outside, I mostly just enjoy the flowers surrounding my patio, along with a glass of ice tea and a good book.  We've had so much rain, I can almost watch the flowers grow.

Here's the card I made for this week's challenge.
Anyone remember this CTMH stamp?  It's one of the first I bought.  And the paper was a CTMH special buy last year.
I cased the layout from a certain birthday girl

I believe I've covered Thing #1  and Thing #3.
All that's left is to enter my card in the heARTful stamping challenge to satisfy Thing #2.

Challenges:
Double Trouble Challenge #7 - Dog Days of Summer
heARTful stamping challenge - Dog Days of Summer
Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Lovely Layers
Crafty Calendar August Challenge - Dots and/or Stripes

Thanks for stopping by.  Ice tea anyone?
