Yesterday, when I was on the Double Trouble Challenge blog,
this caught my eye:
"free Christmas Ornament Digital offered by Jan's Digital Shop"
I popped on over to Jan's Shop and collected the freebie, sized it up, printed it 4 times, colored it, and made 4 different Christmas tags.
I may use them on packages or on cards.
The CTMH Art Philosophy Cricuit Cartridge was used to create the tag and matching frame.
Now I'm headed over to Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge Blog to enter this in the July Anything Goes Challenge.
Thank you so much Jan!
and thanks to DTC for the tip!
Additional Challenges:
Double Trouble Challenge #116 - Christmas in July, Bling It On, and enter the challenge at Jingle Belles

Christmas in July is the theme for
Double Trouble Challenge #116.
After Christmas last year, I came across this cute mouse die cut and just had to buy it. Consequently, it was near the top of the Christmas dies in my stash.
Does it need more evergreens across the top? What do you think?
I am off to enter both challenges and then find that missing gem.
Thanks for stopping by.

How about a card with snowflakes to cool you off?

Christmas in July
is the theme for the Double Trouble Challenge #115.
When it is this hot and humid, it's a bit hard to get in the holiday spirit. But, I thought I'd give it a try.
My Christmas Stash has a lot of odds and ends from previous years. The last few years I have made a concerted effort to use up a lot of old stuff before I buy new. And I'm doing just that, one strip at a time.
That should make all the Things happy.

This is the first birthday I needed for July.

Today I have a card made specifically for the Double Trouble Challenge #114. I bet the gals there been wondering where I've been. It's one of my favorite challenges. And usually, when I haven't played in a week or two, one of their dt members sends out a search party.
Here's my entry:
(The fussy cut Panda stamp is from SU; the Hooray die is from Honey Bee; the circle embossing folder is from Spellbinders.) |
In keeping with this week's theme,
I made my background using circle stencils, ink and daubers to create the 3 circle pattern from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge
and then dry embossing it with another circle pattern. I even used tiny circle stencils on the balloon.
I hope you'll come back tomorrow to see the 2 Christmas cards I made for Send A Smile 4 Kids. The card I made today will go in the box for SAS4K since it is kid friendly and can be used for multiple occasions. When my grandson was in Children's Hospital several years ago, he couldn't come home until he learned how to swallow pills to continue on with the antibiotic he needed. The day he managed to get his first pill swallowed, was definitely a Hooray! kind of day.
Thanks so much for dropping by!
