Double Trouble Challenge #57 + Bugaboo winner

This afternoon I'm sharing a card I made for the Double Trouble Challenge. 

It will go in the pile for Send a Smile For Kids.

When I was in elementary school, there was always a mad dash at recess for the see saws because there were only a few.  In memory of that childhood activity, on which I broke my nose in kindergarten, I colored this cute digi stamp with pencils and framed it with kraft paper.  I also used kraft paper behind the sentiment.

Do they still have those nose busters on playgrounds?

This Bugaboo digi was on my craft table and I found it a home on this very simple card.

The image was colored with markers and then the die cuts were added.

4th of July Mojo

Hi, Everyone!  I was up early this morning and had my card for Mojo Monday Sketch Contest #455 completed and photographed before 9am.  But, I had a fun day planned and didn't have time to get it posted until now.

 The stamp set is Amusement Park by Close to My Heart and the papers are from the CTMH Magical Paper Pack. (Not that the papers are actually magical, that's just the name of the paper pack.)   If you look real hard and adjust your screen just right, you may see the faint blue stars on the center square of paper.   For the wee bit of coloring I did on the ferris wheel,   I used Promarkers.

Color Dare

The colors for this week's Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge are....

 

My table is quite a mess right now, as I am preparing for a Red Hat class I am teaching the day after I return from vacation.  But, buried in the chaos, I found this oval (Art Philosophy Cartridge) and enough scraps to put together a card. 

I used the stamp set that came with the CTMH Blossoms Workshop on the Go Card Making Kit.  I stamped the flowers in hollyhock on the sunset paper and also edged the sunset mat and bow (Artiste Cartridge) in hollyhock.  The embossing folder is also a CTMH product.
