a new card to share with you each week for
There was a time when I tried to play every Double Trouble Challenge. And then there came a time when I just didn't have the time. But today I did!
I used Spellbinders products for the border and flower die cuts and the sentiment. |
About 3 weeks ago, I placed a Stampin' Up order. Because we were in the process of returning to Pennsylvania from warm, sunny Florida, I had the package delivered to my son's address. When we got back, he gave it to me. It took a lot of self control to not open that package until after I had completed our income taxes this past Thursday. But yesterday, I broke the seal and put the items in my stash except for a 6x6 package of paper called Hello, Irresistible.
Here are two birthday cards I made today using one of the 6x6 papers.
I'm so happy that I ordered this, even if I didn't need any more paper.
I'll be sharing the first card in the following challenges:
AAA Birthday Challenge: Game #48
Make My Monday Challenge #198 - Frame It!
Seize the Birthday Challenge #259 - Alcohol
Thanks for stopping by.

This is the Tuesday Morning Sketch:
You may play in the Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge, as usual, and enter your card here.
However, for some extra fun, you can also follow the themes at the Double Trouble Challenge and also enter your card there.
Plus, you have 2 weeks to play and may enter up to 3 cards.
This is a super easy sketch. In fact, so easy I made another card using the sketch and the rainbow theme at Double Trouble Challenge.

Double Trouble Challenge has long been a favorite of mine.
You are not required to enter the Double Trouble Challenge, but if you'd like to have a little fun while creating your card this week....
Here are the items required for their challenge:
First: Create a project using as many colors as you wish using either traditional rainbow colors or pastels suitable for Easter or springtime.
Second: Use the Tuesday Morning Sketches' image along with the rainbow colors.
Third: If you used rainbow colors and the Tuesday Morning Sketch, enter your project at Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge.
Here is a Mother's Day card that I created for both challenges:
I used Stampin Up tulip paper in a rainbow of colors. Then I printed a digital image by Power Poppy and colored those tulips to match, fussy cut the image, and used foam tape to pop it onto my card. I used Spellbinders Circle Dies. And the sentiment was computer generated.
I hope you'll play along with both challenges.
You can be sure that one of us will be visiting you.
Don't forget that this TMS Challenge will run for 2 weeks to coincide with the DTC.
