Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #675

Here are a two more cards for the Try a Sketch On Tuesday Challenge # 675.  (Scroll down to see a couple more).

It's a really cute sketch and I had some triangles of paper leftover from making cards for the Double Trouble Challenge.   And since I had pulled out some of my punny stamps, I decided to follow the DTC Recipe, too.

I actually threaded a needle, no small feat, to sew the stitching up the side of the card by hand.

Double Trouble Challenge #196

This week's Double Trouble Challenge Recipe is:

At one time, I did a lot of paper piercing to get that stitched look on my cards.  And then the stitched dies appeared. They are now my preferred method of  'sewing' .  Here are two cards I made using the recipe, a punny sentiment, and the sketch from Try A Sketch on Tuesday.

It's always fun playing in these two challenges.

Double Trouble Challenge #195

It's been quite a while since I've played in the Double Trouble Challenge.  This week's 3-2-1 Recipe  "Inky Pinkies" looked like fun.

Here's my card:

I'll also enter it in the partner challenge,

To make my background, I smooshed a few colors onto an acrylic block and then lightly sprayed with Sheer Shimmer Sparkle.  It helped blend the colors.  Although it doesn't show in the photo, when stamped onto the paper, gave the whole piece a pretty shine just for Twisted Sister.
