Christmas in July with Double Trouble

 Everyone is sporting a Santa hat for the Double Trouble Challenge #143.   In fact, I'd like to borrow the hat that Thing 3 is wearing for my December Red Hat meeting.

 

I made a card featuring a Bugaboo digital image.  

 

It is July, this is a Christmas card, the cat is wearing a Santa hat, and I am submitting this card to the Jingle Belles Santa Hat Challenge.    I think I have all the bases covered.

Santasaurus Christmas Card

I'm still playing with the Prehistoric Christmas stamps from Newton's Nook.  These stamps are perfect for Christmas cards to send along to SAS4K.   Scroll down to see a few more samples on my previous posts.  BTW, the current challenge at SAS4K is Christmas in July.

 

 

Coincidentally, the theme for the Double Trouble Challenge is also Christmas in July,

with a side order of Stars and Stripes for Twisted Sister,

 

 and Thing 2 has issued a Double Dare to enter the Jingle Belles Challenge, as well.

Send A Smile 4 Kids July Challenge #239

 

The theme for the July Challenge at

Send a Smile 4 Kids 

is 

Christmas in July

 

Anything Goes for kids is always acceptable, too.

We just want to see your wonderful creations

and hope you enjoy making and sharing them! 

 

Here is my card for July: 

This card features stamps and dies from the retiring Newton's Nook  Prehistoric Christmas sets.  I just loved these stamps immediately and thought they would be perfect for cards going to SAS4Kids.  Plus they are on sale!  From top to bottom meet  Treeceratops, Santasaurus, and Velociwrapper.  I used markers to do the coloring.  The dinosaur paper is from Stampin Up.

 

When I opened the bag of  papers, there were two partially made cards inside.  Now they are finished Christmas cards, too.

 

 Cute, huh?
