CTMH Card Class 5/7/2013

Here are the cards I made at Joyce's weekly Close to My Heart Class:

 

I went to the evening class this week so I didn't get to see all my afternoon buddies.    This is such a busy week for me.   I delivered a bunch of stuff to the farm this afternoon to sell.  Luckily I beat the storm home.  Wow - did we get hail!!!  Still have a lot to do before my luncheon on Saturday - but I'm getting there!

Bags and Tags

Right now I have a table of various bags and tags in various stages of completion.  So I thought I'd give you a peek at them before I took them down to the farm to sell.  Since my cousin makes and sells soap (http://scentualgardens.com/) there, I try to make them basically as gift bags to go with the soap.

First things first!

I made my Mojo card first thing this morning and snapped a photo.   

Guess it would help if I posted it  and got it entered in the Mojo Monday 292 Contest.

and here is the Mother's Day Card I made for my BFF's mom:

I used a darling paper pack called Emma's Garden which was a freebie in my last Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine.  The butterfly dimensional element was also part of the freebie pack.

This is the first bow I made using my new Craft-Dee BowZ Maker.  Can you see the triple loops? 

It's a tricky gadget and easy enough to use.

Kathy made me do it!

Late last night I got an email from Kathy at Clearly i Stamp, with an invitation to join her today:

"Tomorrow is NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY so we going to have some fun and craft all day!! If you get a chance to get in your craft room tomorrow I will be hosting 4 different challenges at Clearly i Stamp Blog. I would love if you can come play with me and you might even win some great prizes!"

 I missed the 1st Challenge because both my grandsons had baseball games this morning at the same time.  Luckily they were on adjacent fields so we could watch both games at once.  What are the odds that they would both be up to bat at the same time?  Well they were! 

 

So I just had enough time to make this quick bag and tag for challenge # 2 - balloons.  Now I'm headed outside in this beautiful sunshine to spread mulch.  Maybe I can get back to the Clearly i Stamp Challenges later.

Got lots of 'fresh' air today in my gardens.  Well, there was also a bit of dust, pollen, fertilizer and mulch mixed in with the fresh air.  
Not much time left for crafting, but enough to make this card:

 

Some Mom's might enjoy a "tee" time for Mother's Day!

I used a digi image by Sandi Huggett, a fellow Outlaw, some die cuts using the Cricut Artiste cartridge from CTMH, 2 of my favorite embossing folders, and 2 of my special handmade crochet flowers which I only use for important cards.

First - a big Welcome Back to Gail!!!  

So glad she was feeling well enough to join us this week.  We've all missed her.  Now it's Susie's turn to finish healing from her hip surgery and return to our fabulous group gals!
