Crazy 9 Pooch

My nephew, who just recently got an adorable dog, celebrates his 9th birthday at the end of this month.

This one is for Mason.

The dog stamp is from Stampers Anonymous; sentiment is from Stampin Up; Balloon are MFT die cuts; and labels are Cricut cuts from the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge.

I made this card with the following challenges in mind:

Send a Smile 4 Kids October Challenge

The theme for the October Challenge at

Follow SAS4Kids on Facebook!
is Holiday or Celebration
or Anything Goes 4 Kids.

This buck may be in disguise for Halloween, or perhaps hunting season, or dressed up for a holiday party.  We saw 8 deer in the neighbor's yard the other evening but they didn't look nearly as dapper!  The deer die cuts are from the Tim Holtz Cool Yule collection.  The wreath is a cricut cut from the CTMH Flower Market cartridge.  The stamp is also CTMH.

It would be great if you joined the fun at the

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #574

Tuesday Morning Sketches
Welcome to my blog, where I have
a new card
to share with you each week for

Here's the sketch for this week and my card.

I'm not exactly sure why I am making Halloween cards.  I generally don't send them out.  Anyone need some Halloween cards?
I do think they are fun to make and
I have some great papers and stamps to use.
These papers and the Halloween sentiment are from CTMH.
The spider is an Inkadinkado stamp.  I stamped and heat embossed the image, black on black.  The background is dry embossed.

I hope you'll play along at
this week.
The Design Team would love it if you'd visit our blogs.

Catch the Bug Saturday Challenge

Weekly Challenge!

What will this photo inspire you to make for this week's challenge at

Catch the Bug Challenge Blog?

Some schools are open in our area, some are partially open, and some are totally virtual.  The big yellow buses are out and about. Hopefully, by the time the leaves have turned, the schools may be back on a more normal schedule.  And when that happens, students, parents and teachers will all be yelling Hooray!

Here's what the photo inspired me to make using Bugaboo image Kidz School Bus:

The image was colored with markers and I did some paint smooshing to create the background paper before embossing and die cutting.

Hope you'll join the fun at this week's at
