The iris folding pattern for this heart was so unique and interesting, I just had to try it.
Of course, I made it a bit more difficult by choosing a directional dp, but I really like how it turned out. The background paper is a shiny holographic heart pattern. I can't believe I managed to capture it so well in the photo. Love that super shiny look.
I used a CTMH Hugs and Kisses stamp, cutting out only the HUGS to mount in the center of the heart.

I love doing Iris folding but you added a little twist to it and that look wonderful. Your paper choice is wonderful and love the background paper also. Just a thought for you have you ever tried 5/8 ribbon with the Iris folding? Their is not folding because the ribbon edges are already finished but doing it with ribbon also turns out fantastic. Thank so much for joining us at Though the Craft room Door challenge.
ReplyDeleteFabulous ideas and great inspiration.

I used to do iris folding all the time. When I first started making cards, this was my favourite technique. I still love it but hardly ever do it any more. I really like this one - it's so different than any I've made. Gorgeous paper choices too! Hope you're enjoying that hot weather while we're getting blasted with yet another blizzard! Take care, my friend!
ReplyDeleteFabulous folding! It makes a stunning card & one I'm sure will be a hit with the recipient! Thanks for joining us this week at QKR Stampede for the weekly challenge!
