Double Trouble Challenge #227

 Hello All !

 

I haven't been posting to my blog very often, but today I thought I'd share this card ....

and then enter it at Double Trouble Challenge #227.   

When I first saw the card that inspired me on Pinterest, I fell in love with the colors.  Knowing I had a few fall birthdays coming up, it was time to try my hand at CASing.  The artist included instructions on her blog right here.  Obviously I took a few liberties here and there.

The requirements for the DTC 3-2-1 Recipe "Leafin' It Up to You" challenge are

3 Colors using Combo Color Wheel #3  (green, turquoise, pink)

2  Autumn images  (Pumpkins, Leaves)
   1 Metallic and/or Glitter Element  (leaves and gold glitter pumpkin stem)

Send a Smile 4 Kids October Challenge

 

The theme for the October Challenge at

Food.

 

I'm not terribly fond of ants, and I definitely would not share a perfectly good cherry pie with them, but I do like the ants on this set of stamps from Craft Lounge and the ant brads from Eyelet Outlet. 

The simple card below uses a 

CTMH  Picture My Life card.
