Createful Heart Design: Guest Designer

 

Zinnias always do so well in my front flower bed.  They get morning sun and love it.  When I was asked to choose a digi image to use for my Guest Design spot for this month's Createful Heart Challenge , this beautiful Summer Zinnia caught my eye.  You will find more digis in the Createful Heart Design Etsy shop. 

 

I did a lot of fussy cutting and used a bunch of foam poppers in order to make the actual flower in 4 layers.  All the tiny dots framing the original digi image are covered with tiny gold dazzle stickers.  The plaid strips top and bottom are washi tape, as well as the skinny burgundy strip covering the left edge.
