Soccer Anyone?
This is the yo-yo card I made our grandson for his 7th Birthday. He really enjoyed pulling the string and spinning the soccer ball around. Kids just love interactive cards. Actually, adults do too. The Soccer Boy digi image is from Digi Stamps 4 Joy.

Are you having an 'ice' day?
Instead of snow, today the trees are covered in ice. It's rather pretty.
You are probably tired of reading my daily weather report. So I will leave it at that.
Here's the card I wanted to share with you today....
This image is a rubber cling mounted stamp which is part of a set from Sparkle and Sprinkle. I stamped it in black Momento ink and then clear embossed it before coloring with a combination of markers pencils and chalk. The windshield got a coat of liquid glass which dries clear to make it look like a real windshield.
Brads are from CTMH. Sentiment is a stamp from the same SNS set . I doodled around the frame with a fine tip marker and distressed all the paper edges with a dauber and black ink.
This card will be entered in the following challenges:
Cardz 4 Guys Challenge #4 - Spots and Stripes
Sparkle N Sprinkle February 2014 Challenge - Anything Goes (I used embossing powder.)
Try it on Tuesdays Challenge - Travel
Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #109 - This is a Man's World

I've been asked to join the Design Team at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge Blog.
This week at Tuesday Throwdown we are
sponsored by Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More

and it is a sketch challenge....

I chose to use the digital image Pretty Flowers from
Robyn's Fetish for my first DT card.
I hope you'll all hop over to Tuesday Throwdown to see the
other wonderful cards my Team has made to inspire you
to join in this week's challenge.
You don't even have to go out in the snow!

A Very Snowy Mojo Monday
Well, the snow arrived to day as predicted. And it's a lot of snow! Still coming down, as if 6+ inches wasn't enough. Look at the cute little dunce caps on the lights up my walk....
Here, the neighborhood girls are out trying to make a snowman, but it's not a good packing snow.
It's an excellent day for making a Mojo Monday card, baking cookies, and putting on a pot of pot pie for dinner.
| The cat and sentiment are from a set of Paper Smooches stamps called Party Posse. |
This is the Mojo Monday Sketch # 331 for this week:

Snow Shoveling Fairy?
I can't believe we have snow in the forecast several days next week. Enough already. Temps did reach the 50's today and may again tomorrow, but then the cold is back. A snow shoveling fairy would certainly be nice. That's for sure!
This digi is from Bugaboo digital stamps. The sentiment was computer generated. That glittery BG is a thin vinyl that looks purple on one side and silver on the other. A friend at class was nice enough to share it with us. The white snowflakes are dazzles. And I added some glitter on the wings, hat, snow and snowflakes.
