I am getting nothing done today but cards!

Not only is today Mojo Monday, but there are new challenges at both Sparkle N Sprinkle and Paper Playtime.  This time I made one card to enter in both challenges.  Sometimes I come across cards in various blogs that are entered in half a dozen or more challenges at once.  My hat is off to you card makers!  Two at once was challenging enough for me.

So here is my entry for Sparkle N Sprinkle September Sketch Challenge  SNSSC11 (http://sparklensprinkle.com/blog/2012/08/september-sketch-challenge) and  Paper Playtime #83 Gingham, Die Cut or Punch Challenge (http://paperplaytime.blogspot.com/).

The sentiment on the card reads:  "Let's Make a Date for Christmas Tea Next Saturday at Half Past Three".  As most of my card making friends already know, I love making little poems for my cards.  I'll finish this one on the inside of the card and send it to my oldest and dearest friend in Yuma, AZ when Christmas is a bit closer.  This way we can set a time to relax and indulge in a good long Christmas chat.  (Just to clarify, she's really not my oldest friend age wise.  I do have older friends and many dear friends.  However, she has been my friend, sorority sister, and the sister I wish I had, since our college days.  Love ya, Dawn.)
Olympic paints has great paint samples which emboss nicely for on cards.   My sister-in-law gave me the red gingham and a bunch more paper on our last visit.  And the tea cup is from Sparkle N Sprinkle's Stamp Set #464 Zendoodle Tea.  Now let's see what other mischief I can get into today......
