As I may have mentioned before, I just joined the Outlawz CFC Challenge Group. They have fabulous free digis with which to work. This adorable cupcake image is by Sandi Huggett. I love all the little hearts on the icing. I printed the image twice, once in white and once in pink so I could paper piece the cupcake paper, icing and hearts together. Then I decided I wanted the hearts dark red like those cinnamon hearts that almost break your teeth but are so yummy. So I used a marker and covered them in CTMH liquid glass to give them the shiny sheen. I also wanted to try the paper piecing background I had seen in the latest issue of CardMaker. After getting that all glued together I embossed it with a heart design which, unfortunately, is hard to see in the photo. So now that I got my paper fix for the day and my craft area is all tidied up, I'll finish taking down the Christmas tree. Not as much fun as playing with paper but...........
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
