This week we made cards using iris folding, which some of us love, some of us dislike intensely, and some of us had never done before. The results were all wonderful.
Our first card was done the traditional way, with a premade template for the layering.
The paper was very shimmery and didn't photograph very well. But, it made a very pretty card.
Our second card was done a bit differently. Joyce cut the aperture out on the cricut. Then we made our own template with a ruler and pencil. It really wasn't hard.
Looking around the table there were polka dot dresses, gingham dresses, striped dresses, plain dresses, some with buttons, some with pearls. All looked great! Joyce took some pictures for her blog, so keep an eye out for them.
(By the way, in case you follow my blog regularly (I did bake a luscious pineapple cake with cream cheese frosting when I got home from class.) If you don't follow my blog regularly why not start? I try to post daily with lots of different types of cards for various online challenges. Follow by email and you'll get a notice every time I post something new.
Wow! These look marvelous, Debi. Was it difficult folding the CS for the dress? The sparkling champagne glasses look awesome - off to see Joyce's blog to look at the others.
