The template supplied in the magazine is for a finished card measuring 14 cm x 14.5 cm. I prefer to make A2 cards. So I set out to convert the directions. This took a bit of time. OK It took quite a bit of time.
Once I got a workable template, I began constructing my own book card. The magazine says their pictured cards took almost an hour to make. That's not exactly my idea of a quick card. And since I didn't have a clear picture of how I wanted the finished card to look, it only took me about 2 hours to complete this pop-up book card....

You know how sometimes you buy stuff because it's a good deal and then later ask yourself why you did that? This was one of those purchases. So I am also entering the card in the challenges at

Wow, Debi - That's beautiful! Well worth your time! Those patterned papers are gorgeous too! Imagine how excited the recipient will be when they open it - it will blow them away.
