Today it is even too miserable for snowmen!
The 6 inches of snow we received Friday is now glazed over with a coating of ice from today's freezing rain. It's supposed to warm up a bit tomorrow before Tuesday's freezing temps with wind chills below zero.
I have a bread pudding in the oven warming up the kitchen.
Sybilla, what happened to the brandy sauce recipe you were going to give me?
Right now warm winter wishes are definitely in order!
I used some freebie paper and matching tag from inside one of my magazines to make this card. Since they are relatively thin, I like to add a little texture with an embossing folder as well as a layer of CS underneath. I also spritzed the DP with some glitter mist. The red glitter strip was a scrap from Christmas cards and the glittered snowflake was in a packet of table confetti.
