Tall & Skinny Envelope Card for Mojo Monday

Every so often Mojo Monday has a sketch that is tall and skinny.  Since neither one of those adjectives can be used to describe yours truly,  I have some difficulty wrapping my mojo around this concept.  Then again, if you turned the sketch on it's side, I suppose you could consider it short and chubby.  Now I can relate to that.
(CTMH sentiment stamp)

First I made the mojo card loosely according to the sketch:

But instead of putting it on a card base, I decided to use it as the insert for an envelope card.
So here is the envelope:

And this is what the finished project looks like:
The insert card measures 3.5 x 5.5 and with the envelope it measures 3.75 x 5.5 and still fits in an A2 envelope.

I will be entering this in the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion Challenge #207 - Shaped Cards or anything but Square
Fitztown Challenge #29 - Fancy Folds

I just realized I did not emboss any part of this card.  That is so not like me.  I told you the skinny and tall thing was affecting my mojo!  Is affecting correct or should it be effecting?  I think affecting is correct.  Mickey, some help here?

Hope you'll be back tomorrow to see my Tuesday Throwdown Design Team card.  It is a normal A2 card, not skinny, not tall.

  1. Short and chubby on the side? lol It would describe me too! What's funny is I'm using the same sketch for a card I'm posting on my blog tomorrow. What a small world! Thanks for joining us at Fitztown Challenge Blog. Hope to see you again and good luck!
