Today's challenge at Tuesday Throwdown is not only alliterative but it also suits me to a T.
Anyone who knows the crafting side of me knows that I love finding and making special card folds.
Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #185 is challenging you to make a Tent Topper card, which is basically a top fold card with something extending over the top. Easy Peasy.
Our sponsor this week is Robyns Fetish Digital Stamps.
For this card I've used two different images from Robyns Fetish Digital Stamps,
the English Tea Cup and the Two for Tea Pot.
I resized the stamps in my "Paint" program.
I also flipped the cup so I could have 2 cups with the handles in opposite directions.
First the tea set was colored with markers. Then I applied a layer of glaze with a Sakura Glaze pen.
Next came fussy cutting these dainty china pieces.
And finally the cups were glued to the tent topper, 2 die cuts using the Cricut and a CTMH cartridge,
and the tea pot was popped.
The card base is 3" x 8" folded. The topper extends 1" above the top fold.
For the tiny sentiment die cut I used a Spellbinders die and a Stampin' Up stamp.
Both the background DP and the pink CS shape were embossed.
The other members of Tuesday Throwdown Design Team B have made some wonderful examples of tent topper cards with several different Robyns Fetish digital stamps.
Gail even made a tent card with a tent topper!
So stop on by, leave them a little love, and join in the fun.
Now I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:
