AHSC # 172 It kind of looks like a boat?

Interesting is how I'd describe the sketch today at
To me it sort of resembles a boat.
I'm imagining being out on a whale watching vessel and
actually seeing a whale.
Whale hello there!
So, I went with that idea.
It is also a perfect sketch for using up some scraps.  Then I thought, why not use the colors from the current Color Dare ChallengeAnd, I happen to have lots of pieces of the CTMH Fundamental papers in those colors, because I love it and refuse to waste a bit! (Really, when you dovetail a banner, do you save the little triangle?  It's that bad!
 Love those papers!!!)

I can't wait until Wednesday when the DT at AHSC posts their cards to see what they did with this sketch.

Well, that was fun!
Speaking of fun....
The CTMH Joyful Stars August Blog Hop
starts Wednesday, August 10th.
Hope to see you then!

  1. Really cute. And even though I consider myself an accomplished hoarder - I DO NOT save the little triangles when I dovetail a piece of paper. But maybe it is because I never thought "it would look good on a card!"

  2. This is just so cute! I am lucky to live near a whale watching town and hope to take my boys on the boat soon. I love your whole thought process behind this card- thanks so much for joining us at AHSC this week!
