Interesting is how I'd describe the sketch today at
To me it sort of resembles a boat.
I'm imagining being out on a whale watching vessel and
actually seeing a whale.
Whale hello there!
So, I went with that idea.
It is also a perfect sketch for using up some scraps. Then I thought, why not use the colors from the current Color Dare Challenge? And, I happen to have lots of pieces of the CTMH Fundamental papers in those colors, because I love it and refuse to waste a bit! (Really, when you dovetail a banner, do you save the little triangle? It's that bad!
Love those papers!!!)
I can't wait until Wednesday when the DT at AHSC posts their cards to see what they did with this sketch.
Challenges:
Just Us Girls Challenge # 355 - Water
Well, that was fun!
Speaking of fun....
The CTMH Joyful Stars August Blog Hop
starts Wednesday, August 10th.
Hope to see you then!
Really cute. And even though I consider myself an accomplished hoarder - I DO NOT save the little triangles when I dovetail a piece of paper. But maybe it is because I never thought "it would look good on a card!"
ReplyDeleteThis is just so cute! I am lucky to live near a whale watching town and hope to take my boys on the boat soon. I love your whole thought process behind this card- thanks so much for joining us at AHSC this week!

The sketch resembled a boat to me also. I have not yet decided what I'm going to make. Your creation is delightful!
