The Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge #209 lists Pear, Sorbet, Pomegranate, Black, White Daisy and Gold as the all and only colors for this week's challenge. I needed to make a card for my cousin's dad, who still lives on the family dairy farm, although the cows have been gone for a while now.
Here's what I came up with.
Hope he likes it.
|(All CTMH products with the exception of the ODBD die cut frame)|
This is actually a pop up card.
Here are photos of the inside.
|The cow and sentiment are Great Impressions stamps and the cake and candles are Craft Lounge stamps.|
And there you have it -
a Pear, Sorbet, Pomegranate, Black, White Daisy and Gold pop up birthday card, which I'll be submitting to the following
NBUS Challenge #7 - Anything Goes with Never Before Used Schtuff (This is the first time I've used the farm, cow, and sentiment stamps.)
Through the Purple Haze Challenge #107 - Countryside
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #369 - Embossing (I used embossing for the resist stamping on the card front)
Polkadoodles Challenge Week 34 - Something beginning with an "f" (Frame, Farm)
Fashionable Stamping Challenge #114 - resist stamping
Great Impressions September Challenge - Anything Goes
Stamping Sensations September Challenge - One for the Boys
Now I think I'll go in search of
some peaches for a cobbler and vanilla ice cream.
No clue what I'm making for dinner tonight,
but dessert I have figured out!
Enjoy your day!
