Paper a la Mode

Today's Outlawz Saturday Paper a la Mode Challenge
(PAM001192013) is to use Bright Colors,  a perfect theme for making my grandson's birthday card.

This card actually my second project of the day.  This morning was our monthly Above and Beyond Club, where a few of meet at Joyce's to make special projects.  Today we made a mini cake using a battery operated tea light and a little box to match.  We got to use one of the new papers from Close to My Heart, a gorgeous black and white DP.   I still want to bling this up a bit with some pearls, etc.  But isn't it darling?  The box is only 2 1/2 in. square.

By the way, Joyce has just posted pictures of the iris fold cards we made on Tuesday.
Check them out on her blog here: http://joyce-joyfulcreations.blogspot.com/

  2. Debi, how cute to have that sports border across the top of your HM card! Looks adorable! Love your lotus flower with the tea candle in it. So pretty, as is your box. You've been busy! I think my favorite of your recent designs is the pretty classy B&W lotus flower - I have not seen that project anywhere else! hugs, de
