My daughter asked me to make a wedding card in clover green and kind of countryish.
She doesn't need it until March but it's the season for "love" cards.
I started out using the Freshly Made Sketch, but I wanted to step it up a bit for the occasion. I knew I wanted to use burlap ribbon. My crochet cotton was in the same drawer. So I quickly made a little flower and added the wood button with green thread. I embossed the sentiment in SNS Antiquities EP which has a warm brown color to it. The embossed DP is a freebie from a magazine. I border punched a strip of CS for under the burlap and added pearl bling.
Guess I'll enter this one in:

OMG, that's a beauty. Love that Flower too.
ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty, you attained exactly what you were asked! Love the burlap and your crocheted flower is perfect!
ReplyDeleteDebi, this is a wonderful card! So pretty - love the colors and textures going through your card base. The little pearls and crocheted flower look very "shabby chic" against the burlap and hearts! A VERY beautiful card! Looks like a little time was spent on this card. Where do you find your burlap?
ReplyDeleteLove the texture and the soft colors - great job
