Time for another Mojo sketch:
Don't know what made me think of the neon index cards in the drawer. But think of them, I did. Perhaps because of the bright welcome to be received when one opens the Mojo Monday blog each week. Be that as it may, they became the bright circles on my card for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge # 281.
The three circles reminded me of the 3-2-1 challenge ( use 3 of one thing, 2 of another and 1 of something else) at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. So I added two words (computer generated) and one string of rick rack. The cute little owl is a digi image by Michelle Perkett Studio.
Finally this card will be headed to Send a Smile 4 Kids and eventually to a child in one of 8 Children's Hospitals, but first I will enter it in their current CAS Cards 4 Kids Challenge.
Now I'm going to clean out my kitchen cabinet, remove the remaining dishes from a set I bought piece by piece at the grocery store 30+ years ago, and replace them with the beautiful new set my Mother bought me for Christmas this year. It's time.
Oh my, almost forgot to include a photo of my card.
What a fun card - love the rick rack branch! That little owl is so cute!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Debi, I like the sweet owl the colours and the ric rac.

Your multicolor rick rack looks great! and the bright primary colors for your owls are darling. I know what you mean about the new dishes. I did the same thing a year ago, finally donating those old grocery store plates with a beautiful set myself! I saved some of the bowls and dinner plates for use with projects and plants (that way I could throw them away afterward) LOL have fun!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a bright and cheerful card! It will definitely brighten a child's day! Great use of the 3-2-1 challenge at SNSDC!
