Love to Scrap Challenge & Eureka Stamps

Today I'm wearing a different hat.
I was asked to be a Guest Designer this month at the
Love to Scrap Challenge Blog.

The current challenge at Love to Scrap is "Back It Up",
which means no patterned paper may be used for the background.

Challenge Sponsors are Bugaboo Digi Stamps (prize is 7 images) and Eureka Stamps (prize is 5 images).
Bugaboo Digi Stamps has a wide variety of fun digi images and also offers freebies every Friday.
Eureka Stamps carries digi stamps, rubber stamps and various supplies.  You can sign up for their newsletter and receive notifications of new items and special sales.

For this challenge I chose  digi image #25301, Tulip Frame, from Eureka Stamps and made this Easel Card.

Using the cricut and a CTMH cartridge, I cut the green CS tag and then ran it through the Cuttlebug with a dotted swiss embossing folder before attaching the image.   No patterned paper there.
(inside view)
I printed the image twice so I could put it on the front of the card and also inside, where I used only 2 pieces - the center tulip and the heart border.
For the background on the inside of the card, I used a fine tip black marker to draw a squiggly border around the white CS similar to the border on the digi.  Then I used the same markers I used to color the digi to dot the CS.  Again, no patterned paper was needed.

Above is a closeup of the acrylic sentiment which reads, "May every day be a celebration of the heart" .
I applied a layer of liquid glass to the heart border strip from the digi image to also give it an acrylic look.

And here is a closeup of the image on the front of the card.  After coloring with markers, I triple embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Stuck it in the freezer for a bit, then took it out and immediately cracked the embossing by gently bending the paper in various directions.

I hope you'll join the fun at Love to Scrap for this No Patterned Paper Challenge

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
