She was so thrilled with how her handmade gingerbread house looked, she put it in her attic to save for the next year.
Yes, she needed to call an exterminator!
I just love when those sweet memories of our inexperienced youth surface and give us a little chuckle! My thanks to Doodle Pantry for this free digi set and the chuckle it gave me. I've used the colored image today, CTMH papers, a store bought doily, and some cute candy stickers from MS.

I bet you were expecting to see the bear project my grandson and I made yesterday afternoon in his 4th grade classroom. It was a fun afternoon and wonderful to see so many moms, dads, grandma's and grandpa's there to help. The project was to make a Travel Mate, in this case a bear. The children each have a journal to keep detailing the travels of their bear from now till spring. After distributing small bears to each child, the students were free to name, dress and personalize their new travel mate. The adults were on hand for assistance and to use the hot glue guns.
