That's My Boy!

After many years of hard work, a lot of determination, and not much sleep, my son has received his Doctorate in Education.
His wife and 2 sons have planned a celebration for later today (for which I still have 2 batches of cookies to make).
I've made 2 cards for the occasion.  That was a mistake, because now I must decide which one to take.
Card #1
(using a MFT stamp and MFT hexagon stitched dies)
Card #2
(using CTMH stamps)

FYI:  Tuesday Throwdown Challenge is celebrating its 300th post with a blog hop and giveaway.
Scroll down to see what you could win here, then head over to TT for the entire list of participants.
Giveaway ends July 4th!

  1. Card #2 gets my vote...aren't wise old owls just the cutest! Don't burn the cookies while you're crafting!

  2. Deb, both cards are truly great and love the owl graduate in particular; however, it's only fair to tell you the color challenge is "only and all". Don't miss out on our prize would still be eligible providing you put a comment in each DT's project.

    1. That's ok, Sue. It gave me a jumping off point anyway!

    2. Enjoyed your jumping off point, please jump back on for another submission or future submission.

  3. Beautiful cards! More importantly, congrats on your sons education. You must be so proud...he learned it all from his Mother! :)
