Before I leave, here is my card for Day # 6 of the Month of Holiday Cards Challenge at Beccy's Place. Today's challenge is to create a holiday card using masking.
I'm not familiar with the masking fluid that Beccy used in her excellent tutorial. I'll be looking for some at the show today.
Here's how I did it. First I stamped the center ornament on white cs. Then I stamped another ornament on a piece of thin scrap paper and cut it out. I laid it over the stamped ornament on the cs and stamped 2 more ornaments, one on either side. Originally, I was just going to go for a 1 layer CAS card, but wasn't happy with it. Then I decided to cut out the row of ornaments and adhere them to the embossed dp and add another layer of green dp under that. So much for a 1 layer card! Once I had everything glued in place and added the sentiment and sparkles, the whole card got a good spritz of sparkle spray mist.

It just so happens that today is my birthday. I want to show you the doodad I made for my purple hat that I wore to the Royal Scarlett Flock's Red Hat monthly luncheon this past Wednesday. Normally we wear red hats, but if it is your birth month a purple hat is worn. I'm new to Red Hatting and not a big fan of hats. I do, however, wear baseball hats to my grandsons' games. Several months ago I came across this purple Nike baseball hat on clearance. All it needed was a doodad to cover up the Nike swish logo. Thank heavens for my Craft-Dee-Bowz Maker!
This is my entry in the November Craft-Dee-Bows Anything Goes Challenge.
Beautiful card, awesome hat and a big ♪♪HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU♪♪
