Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards Challenge is really cooking for Day #22. Mixes and Mediums is the theme. For my card I decided to use a double layer of green embossing powder to color the tree instead of just using markers. The garland is liquid pearls carefully applied with a pin. And the tree baubles are a combination of glitter gel, red ink, and Create a Shade Paint, also applied with a pin. The tree stand is colored with gold Wink of Stella glitter. I, also, added 5 drops of liquid glass, which dries clear, to some of the dots on the dp for accents. And, the strips of Christmas trees are washi tape.

Your tree looks awesome with all the embossing powder! It really pops! Love all the washi tape too! Love, love, love the gift card holder/card - gorgeous papers and I love the die-cut snowflakes and the charm! Beautiful projects, Debi! Now I could find my mojo, I could be making all kinds of things!
ReplyDeleteThat little seal is very cute.
ReplyDeleteThe tree has come out really well. I have just bought some liquid pearls but have not used them yet. Great inspiration!

Wow, what a labour of love Debi.... applying the liquid pearls with a pin is definitely a show of dedication, and it was worth all the effort, it has turned out beautifully. I love the idea of double embossing the tree to build up the layers, you can see there's lots of texture there. Great job!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Beccy
The white and that blue are beautiful together! I like that seal image you chose to use and the charm is a delightful added element! Thank you for sharing your project and creativity with us at Aud Sentiments for our ATG + a Sentiment challenge!
