The theme for Day #11 at Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards is Buttons. Making a wreath of red and green buttons was my first thought. Then, as I laid out the buttons on a piece of CS, I thought about how badly a postal machine might destroy them. This is why I rarely use buttons on my cards. So I decided not to make the entire wreath out of buttons, but just add a few tiny ones in between gold sequins. I'll still need to pad the envelope, but the card has a much better chance of arriving in one piece.
I used a scalloped circle die cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge and a Spellbinders Picot Edge Circle Die. The sentiment is also CTMH.

I love the way you've made your "wreath" Debi... what a fabulous idea! The button decorations and little gold bow finish it off beautifully. I love the background paper with the poinsettias too.

P.S. I find a little square of bubble wrap and a piece of firm cardboard placed over the front of a heavily embellished card really helps to get it to its destination without too much trouble. Plus it will still fit into a standard envelope.
Oh how cute, love your button wreath! Very pretty colors!
