Bridge Fold Birthday Card

The Chelsea Gardens CTMH Paper makes lovely cards.  Today I have a bridge fold birthday card to share with you.  The images are all from Picture Your Life Cards, which come in the paper pack.

The Happy Birthday stamp is also by CTMH.
The first time I saw this type of card, I wondered how you would mail it.  In a little box?  But, it actually folds flat to mail.

Graphic 45 paper is so hard for me to resist.  I picked up just one sheet of this on my trip to Violet's in Lakeland, FL.
Today I've used it to make a sympathy card.  I hope to use the rest of the sheet for much happier occasions.

You might want to scroll down to see the pretty Butterfly Pop Up card in the previous post.
Come back tomorrow to see my Bridge Fold Birthday Card.

Butterfly Pop Up Card

This is the fabulous card we made at the Seabreeze Card Club yesterday.  Jan Hoyt, a SU demonstrator, got the design from her friend and fellow SU demonstrator, Lyssa Zwolanek, and shared it with us.
Card front stamping is on glossy paper, then embossed.

Opening the card to find these colorful butterflies is a real treat.
Only the tops of the far left and far right butterfly wings are adhered to the paper.

Paper Piecing

My plan was to gather things to work on at a crop.  But after I stamped this bunny (4 times), one thing lead to another and before I knew it I had all these little shirts, pants and ties stamped, fussy cut and ready to assemble on a card.  A lot of scraps went into making 4 of these cards which are headed to SAS4K.
The papers and stamps are from CTMH.
Challenges:

4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #391 - Color Challenge/Anything Goes

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #339 with Sunny Studio

Sweets For My Sweet
is the challenge theme this week at
with Sunny Studio Stamps sponsoring.
Their clear stamp set, Two Scoops, was my choice to make my design team cards.
(I have been without a printer and  am so happy to be able to participate this week.)

 Valentine's Day is fast approaching.
A raspberry soft ice cream with chocolate sprinkles would be the perfect sweet from my sweetie.

This is such a great layered stamp set.  The cone is actually made with two stamps  and the ice cream is made with three.  It gives you great shading and realistic images.

Here's another card I made with the Two Scoops Stamps Set.

That cherry is made with 4 stamps and some gloss to make it even more realistic.  I fussy cut my images, but there are dies available.

You can find this stamp set and many more at

Can't wait to see what Sweets you might have for your Sweet.
Enter them in this week's
(All the papers used are from CTMH.  Stitched circle dies are from La La Land.)

Bunny Die

Last week I posted some iris folding cards using the negative from one of my dies.  Were you wondering what the die cut looked like?  Here it is:

The die is from Die-versions, which just happens to have it on sale right now.  The stamped frame and sentiment and papers are CTMH retired items from my stash.  I gave a friend a few of these little bunnies and she made fabulous shaker cards with them.

Quilting today

Three weeks ago we went into Eustis to visit the My Favorite Things store.  I purchased a quilt square die, something that had been on my wish list for a while.  Then I got that stupid butt kicking cold.
(I am feeling much better.  Thank you to everyone who has asked.)
Today, I finally unwrapped the die and made 3 squares using CTMH papers.
Then, after making the squares, I wasn't sure what to do with them.
Using a set of stamps from Our Craft Lounge, they became Easter cards and will find their way to SAS4Kids.

Iris Folding Anyone?

The other day I die cut some really pretty bunnies which are waiting to find homes.  I really wanted to use the negatives for some iris folding.

Papers and stamps are from CTMH.  I was going to use cotton for the bunny tails until the spool of crochet cotton caught my eye.  The eye is just a black dot of marker with glue on top.  The nose is a punched circle, also with a dot of glue.
