Pocket cards for my Tuesday Throwdown Challenge tags/bookmarks

This week's Tuesday Throwdown Challenge Theme is tags or bookmarks.  My teammates rocked this challenge with some awesome tags.  Today, I thought I'd make a couple of cards with pockets to accompany my ho-hum tags/bookmarks.

These cards are 5x7 in size to accommodate the tag.

My intention was to show the stamps in both a masculine and feminine way.

Once again, I've used Joy Clair's

Uh-oh Ink Splatter Clear Stamp Set 
and the Be Joyful stamp which is a freebie that 1st time buyers receive.

The "Life is Good" stamp is from CTMH, as are the papers on the second card and the shimmer trims on both cards.

What really surprises me, is that there are very few entries in this week's challenge.

I mean, really?  How difficult is it to make a tag or bookmark?

Come on, crafters!

Tuesday Throwdown DT Project

Notice I said project, not card.  

That's because Team B at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge got to choose a template from our sponsor, Creations by AR, to use for our design team inspiration projects this week.   I'm so happy to be rejoining my team at Tuesday Throwdown Challenge, and I couldn't have picked a better week to do it!

Since our recent Florida trip included winter golfing for my DH, I decided to use a template called Fore the Golfer and make a  Father's Day golf car.

 

(Thanks to my DH for supplying the tees and golf ball.  I couldn't believe he even had the perfect color tees!)

Wouldn't this be a fun way to give Dad a certificate for a round of Father's Day Golf?

Tuesday Throwdown Dino-mite Challenge #201

The dinosaur digital images Tuesday Throwdown's Design Team B was given for this week's challenge were so much fun, I just couldn't help making multiple cards.  My grandson, Matthew, will love these friendly guys to give to his friends at birthday parties.  And I think the children in the hospitals to which Send a Smile 4 Kids supplies cards will enjoy them as well.
