Snowflake pieces everywhere!

The die cut snowflakes are so pretty, but the teeny, tiny pieces that contribute to their beauty can make a bit of a mess.  I've been preparing for a class and have done a lot of die cutting.  The mess was basically contained until.... my great granddaughter spent the afternoon here.  Heaven only knows why I said to her, "would you like to make some snowflakes?" and introduced her to my Cuttlebug.  Her mother came and took her home about an hour ago.  I just got done vacuuming.

I made this card yesterday from some of the card class kit leftovers.
The Warmest Wishes! sentiment is easier to see in person.

Challenges:
Dream Valley Challenge #213 - All That Glitters

Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards: Day 23

After the curve ball challenge that Beccy threw at us yesterday, we are now back to alphabet challenges at Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards Challenge, specifically the letter "t".  Today I am posting a card with a tall snowman digi, next to a tree with tinsel, on tree covered background paper and lots of teal.
Challenges:
Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards Challenge - Day 23: "T"
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Let It Snow
Digi Choosday Challenge Week 47 - Anything Goes
ABC Christmas Challenge - W is for Wishes and X is for Xmas
bastel-traum Challenge # 71 - Winter/Christmas
CCC Digi Creations Challenge #98 - Wintertime
Crafty Hazelnut's November Patterned Paper Challenge - Anything Goes
Aud Sentiments Challenge #217 - Christmas or Winter Sentiment
As You Like It Challenge - Do you prefer Rubber or Digi Stamps?  I prefer digi stamps.  They are easy to store; you can change the size; you can erase or print just part of an image; pre-colored digis save a lot of time and no messy ink clean up.

Day #21 of Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards

After a night of much needed Slumber, my day started with one of my least favorite "S" words.  After breakfast I started Scrubbing the kitchen floor.  There are plenty of chores to take care of before my family descends on Thursday for Thanksgiving dinner.  But I am still going to sneak in the cards for Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards Challenge.  If you haven't figured it out, today's card must include something beginning with a "S".
Meet this fun family of Snowpeople.  It's one of Beccy's digital images.  Using markers I colored it in Shades of brown and red, then fussy cut with Scissors.
For Sparkle I added 3 cricut cut glitter paper Snowflakes,  clear Wink of Stella on the bodies, glitter around the girls' coats, and flocking on the Snowbanks.  The Sentiment is a CTMH Stamp from my Stash.
Challenges:
Aud Sentiments Challenge #193 - Anything Goes + a Sentiment
4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #377 - recipe: 1 bow, 2 colors, 3 snowflakes
Simon Says Monday Challenge - Tear It Up  (I tore a piece of white cs in 2 pieces to make the snow banks, adding glitter and flocking to the torn edges for definition.)

Sunday Stamps

Is there a challenge out there that can fill the hole in my heart left by the closing of Mojo Monday?
Because MM was a sketch challenge, it really helped get my creative week off to a start without having to begin from scratch.  I thought I'd give the Sunday Stamps Challenge a try and just wait until Monday morning to make my entry.  And what do they do to me?  They post a tall and skinny sketch, my least favorite sketch.   MM always did a tall & skinny sketch the 5th Monday of the month,  and I used to grumble every time.  But, I always made a tall & skinny card.  Yesterday, I actually made two, primarily because I had 2 strips of the blue snowflake paper left over.

Both cards measure 3.5 x 5.5 and will fit in an A2 envelope.
The cute little penguins are from a Hampton Arts stamp set which included a die to easily cut them out. The sentiment is also from this set.  I colored the little guys with ProMarkers and Black Wink of Stella.  I didn't want to add embellishments because these 2 cards are for the Cards for Little Hearts card drive.

Challenges being entered:
Sunday Stamps Challenge #156 - Tall & Skinny Sketch
Winter Winderland Challenge - Christmas Penguins
