Send a Smile 4 Kids June Challenge

The theme for the June Challenge at

is
Summer Fun

(Anything Goes for kids is always acceptable, too.)

I searched through my digi images and found several that worked for this challenge, baseball, relaxing in the water, and camping.  I used 2 precolored images and also did some coloring and fussy cutting.

The paper scraps were used on the cards shown below.
All of these cards will be in the next box I send to SAS4Kids.

It would be great if you joined the fun at the
June Challenge.

Send a Smile 4 Kids May Challenge

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

(Anything Goes for kids is always acceptable, too.)

This is my first post for SAS4Kids in a long time.
And I came across some old stickers in my stash that will fit this theme nicely.
First I made a Father's Day card with an automobile on it.

Then I printed an old digi stamp with a train on it, again making a Father's Day card.

Finally, I used the airplane on the sticker sheet.

My grandson, a junior at Messiah University, will be flying to Anchorage, Alaska for the summer to play in the Alaska Collegiate Baseball League on a team sponsored by AIA.  It's also the time of year when graduates all over embark on new adventures.  I made this card with Nick in mind.

Yahoo!  It finally posted!  Thanks, Sue!

The 2 striped pieces of patterned paper that I used on my card are leftover scraps from making these little Easter baskets for my Red Hat lunch today.

I love you "Snow" much!

(Anything Goes for kids is always acceptable, too.)

For this I decided to use a new snowman die that I picked up last year.  First, I needed to separate all the little (and I'm not exaggerating when I say little) die pieces.  I have a small jewelry nipper that works wonderfully.  However, when I snipped the little nose from inside the hat, it flew.  I had no idea where.  And my work table was so cluttered, my hopes of finding it were small.  I went through piles, I moved things around, I shook things, I crawled around on the floor, I checked my shoes and then decided I was perfectly capable of cutting out a snowman nose without the die.  And that's exactly what I did.

BTW  I found the die a few days later laying on the carpet.
I never thought I'd see that again!

Favorite Holiday Color Combo
(Color combos can be for any holiday. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas color combos would be the most seasonal, but any holiday combo will work.)

Anything Goes for kids is always acceptable, too.

When it comes to Christmas/Winter cards I don't know that I have a favorite.
The last few years I've been seeing a lot of cards in shades of aqua and red.
I kinda like the combination, especially when I'm making a card that is not specifically Christmas, like this one.
