LTSCB Challenge #44 When Nature Calls

Today starts a new challenge, When Nature Calls,  at the Love to Scrap Challenge Blog.  

For this challenge you'll need to feature something on your project that's found in nature - living or inanimate. I decided to feature snowflakes and butterflies on my DT card using a digi stamp called Snowflake Butterfly from Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet, the sponsor of the challenge.

For the new challenge at Love to Scrap Challenge, the sentiment cannot be in black.  It must be in color.  Once again we have 2 wonderful sponsors, Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet & Sweet Stamps both offering very generous prizes.

I chose a digi from Stitchy Bear's called Snow Corner for my DT card today and printed it on snowflake DP.
I colored the snowman in the corner and added glitter gel to the center of each snowflake in the digi.  The sentiment was cut on the cricut, distressed and adhered to a glittery piece of vinyl from my stash.  Finally, I added just a few gems to the white snowflakes on the DP.  I distressed the edges of the DP, mounted it on blue CS, also distressed, and then adhered it to a white card.

Wheely Cute Cards at Love to Scrap Challenge Blog

For the current challenge at Love to Scrap Challenge Blog, I've made a set of 3 CAS cards.  

Our wonderful sponsor, Taylored Expressions, gave all DT members a petite stamp set of their choice and I chose the Taylored Expressions Petite Stamp Set Wheely Great with Coordinating Die.  Since the set came with 3 stamps, 3 sentiments, and the VW die, I thought I'd make a set of 3 cards so you could see them all.  No fussy cutting needed with this set.

Anything Goes at Love to Scrap Challenge

DRS Designs is the sponsor for the new,

 Anything Goes Challenge at Love to Scrap Challenge Blog. 

 They will be awarding the challenge winner a $10 gift certificate to the DRS Design Store.  

Each Design Team member at LTS was generously given an image and by DRS to use for our inspiration projects.  

I chose Pumpkin Bouquet and Mind and Prayers Greeting to make my card, suitable for a number of occasions.  I left room on the inside, under the pumpkin, to add a sentiment.  The bouquet was fun to color and easy to fussy cut.  And by die cutting the scalloped circle out of the card front, you see the gorgeous bouquet when the card is closed and open.

Diamond Fold Card LTSCB #33

My first Design Team card for Love to Scrap Challenge Blog is a Diamond Fold Card made for their current "Anything Goes" challenge sponsored by Eureka Stamps and A Day for Daisies. 

I was given a great digital image, digi 9701 tea cup,  from Eureka stamps with which to work.
  (The image is also available in a rubber stamp,  if you prefer. )

I 'm not sure that you can tell from the photo, but after the tea cup was colored and fussy cut it was heat embossed with clear EP to give it the glossy look of china.  I dry embossed a piece of pink CS with a doily pattern and then die cut it to make a background for the image.  The sentiment was one of the sayings printed on the reverse side of the flowered DP.
