Outlawz January Progressive Challenge

Before I forget to post it ....

Here is the card I made for the

 January Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge

All Dressed Up has generously supplied this really cute digi image called Rainbow Girl, for free, to all the participants in last month's Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge.  I used markers to color the image, a die to cut it, and a punch for the sentiment ovals.

Double Trouble Mixes It Up

This card was made specifically for the current Double Trouble Challenge #101.  I missed the last challenge and made it a point not to miss this one!

My card uses 3 patterned papers, has a cute penguin (a digi from 2 cute ink), and follows the sketch at Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #539

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #640

Welcome to my blog, where I have
a new card
to share with you each week for
Tuesday Morning Sketches
Here is this week's sketch:
The design team is taking turns choosing their favorite sketch from 2021.  I chose this sketch.

Sketches are a great jumping off point in card making.  I needed a birthday card today and decided to use a birthday cake for the center image.  When working with one of our sketches, feel free to rotate it or change up the shapes.  As long as we can recognize the sketch elements and layout, please join in the fun and enter your card.

This cake die was a magazine freebie and I use it all the time.  The rectangle dies are from Spellbinders.  The sentiment and tiny flower stamps are from CTMH.

I hope you'll have time to play along at
this week.
The Design Team would love it if you'd visit our blogs.

Happy 3rd Birthday

It was just the week before Christmas that we celebrated my great-granddaughter's first birthday.  Today we are celebrating the 3rd birthday of her older sister, Lahna.

She should like this card.

The papers, including the sentiments and cute elephant, are from a paper pack by The Paper Boutique called Wild and Wonderful.

I used the same paper and same design for her 1st birthday card and her 2nd birthday card.

I traced the three from a stencil and handcut all but the top section where I die cut the "THREE" using dies from MFT.

Challenges:

Shopping our Stash Challenge #461 - something beginning with "s" (shaped card, sentiment)

Through the Craft Room Door Jan. 4th Challenge - AG

2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge # 58- AG with a critter

Cut It Up Challenge #242 - Birthday with a die cut (Although I fussy cut the image, I used dies to cut the word THREE )

Here's a picture of Lahna from Halloween.

It is so hard to get her to stand still!

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #638

Welcome to my blog, where I have
a new card
to share with you each week for
Tuesday Morning Sketches
Here is this week's sketch:
The design team is taking turns choosing their favorite sketch from 2021.  This was Andrea's favorite.

I thought a CAS card would work for my brilliant son's birthday.

Three strips of washi, a couple ovals from my stash, a quick stamp (CTMH), then emboss, add a few die cut letters and it's finished.  The hardest part was getting the striped washi to unroll without tearing.

I hope you'll have time to play along at
this week.

Send a Smile 4 Kids January 2022 Challenge

The theme for the January Challenge at

Follow SAS4Kids on Facebook!

is Valentines/Love
or Anything Goes 4 Kids.

Here's my card:
This digi image is from Gecko Gals.  It was on a Christmas sheet but I thought it perfect for Valentine's day, too.  The sentiment is a CTMH stamp.

It would be great if you joined the fun at the
January Challenge.
(Cards only, please. And they need not be donated.)

Please take some time and visit the fabulous blogs of my teammates.  They work so hard and are very creative!
