Pumpkin Fall Topiary

Today I am using a digital stamp that I've had a very long time.  It is called Pumpkin Fall Topiary and is in my Scribbles by Sandy folder, which is now Scribbles Designs.

How is this for a Halloween birthday?

The image was colored with markers and then fussy cut.  The 'Happy Birthday' die was a magazine freebie.  For the remaining die cuts I used a set of Spellbinders Card Creator Dies.  And to finish it off, 3 little gems and 3 wood hearts were added.

Challenges:

Scribbles Design Challenge #121 - AG

Double Trouble Challenge #121 - Punch it out (The card layers and sentiment are die cuts; The 3 tiny hearts are made of wood; also entering UYS challenge.)

Use Your Stuff Challenge # 467 - Wood (3 hearts)

The party is over!

The Anniversary/Birthday fun at Scribbles Designs is over.  I really enjoyed doing their  jigsaw puzzles online.   Even though the festivities have ended, the challenges have not.  The current challenge theme is Anything Goes.

I've combined two of the Scribbles Designs digi stamps, egg truck and acorn, to make this fun fall card.

Then I used a cute Whimsy Stamps squirrel, balancing 3 acorns on his head and juggling 3 wood acorns at the same time.  I used an oval punch for the sentiment, a CTMH stamp.

This card is being submitted to the following challenges:

Scribbles Designs Challenge #112 - AG

Double Trouble Challenge #121 - Punch it out (The sentiment was punched; The 3 acorns the squirrel is juggling are made of wood; also entering UYS challenge.)

Use Your Stuff Challenge # 467 - Wood (3 acorns)

Through the Craft Room Door Challenge, week of Sept. 27 - AG

I taught a card class for a few of my Red Hat chapter members and I always cut extra, just in case.  These are some of my leftovers from that class.

I hope you'll have time to play along at

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge #676

Welcome to my blog, where I have
a new card
to share with you each week for
Tuesday Morning Sketches

Here is the sketch for this week:

And here is what I created for you:

Actually it's the second card I made  because I wasn't happy with the first.  To be perfectly honest, I'm not exactly thrilled with this one either.  It all started when I put glue on the wrong side of the square piece.  I'm sure you've had days like that.

And then here is the first card I made.
I hunted through all my ribbon until I found the perfect piece.  Unfortunately, there wasn't enough for 3 strips.  It took forever until I decided to use the gold polka dot piece down the center.
This really isn't a difficult sketch, unless you run out of ribbon or glue the wrong side of the paper.

I hope you'll have time to play along at
this week.

Happy Birthday to Scribbles Designs

Congratulations to Scribbles Designs!

They are celebrating their 9th birthday!

As part of the celebration, they have posted a free digi image on the blog for you to use, if you'd like, in their current challenge,

#111 Get your Zen On.

I had a lot of fun coloring this card.  You can find this digital image right here at Scribbles Designs.  I like how there are various Halloween elements within the design, a cat, bats, pumpkins, eye balls, sentiments, etc.  It comes in a large format which I reduced for on a card.  I think I'll send the card to my niece along with a full size copy of image for her to color.

After I colored it with markers, I added a layer of clear glitter film.
You might be able to see the sparkle better in this picture.

In addition to the Scribbles Design Challenge, I am entering:

Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Frame It

Colour Crazy Challenge Week #35 - AG

Two Old Bats September Challenge - Anything Halloween
