Double Trouble Challenge #198

Once again,  I've been asked to join the fun at Double Trouble Challenge as a Crazy Cousin.

For this challenge #198, which runs from Aug. 18th - Aug. 31st,  the theme is "Mix It Up".

The 3-2-1 Challenge Recipe is below:

I've made a Fan Fold Card using TSOT Sketch #677.  It looks super hard, which is why I've never made one before.   But it's really very easy.  It's all in the cutting.

Here's the front,

 and here's the inside.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Now, make sure you pop over to the Double Trouble Challenge to see the wonderful cards made by the Trouble #1, Trouble #2, Trouble #3 and the talented Sneeches.  Then swing over to Try a Sketch on Tuesday  to see sketch #677, which posts on Aug. 19th, and gain extra chances in the DTC random drawing.

I really liked this design.  In fact, here are two more birthday cards.

This 3rd card was a winner!

I Made Top 3 Badge and Winner Post

Thanks again for stopping by.

This Challenge runs from
Friday, March 15th  thru Sunday, March 31st

THING  1:  Trouble Maker
says, "As winter comes to an end in the Northern Hemisphere, perhaps you are seeing and hearing signs of spring. The longer days, the twitter of birds, and the budding of flowers help to cheer us after a cold winter. To celebrate the coming of spring, create a project using your favorite floral image."

You can stop here...
OR
play along with Twisted Sister's optional twist below to earn another chance in our random drawing.

THING  3:  Twisted Sister
says, "Since Easter is almost here, I'm reminiscing over the old song, 'In your Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it'.  Memories of my collection of bonnets with all the frills upon them come to my mind. Perhaps you remember floral-laden bonnets with decorations and embellishments of bunnies, chicks, eggs, etc. My optional twist is to include an Easter element and/or bonnets or baskets with your Spring Florals project."

Optional TwistIf you have included my optional twist in your project you will earn another chance in our random drawing.

THING  2:  Double Dare
says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement to create a Spring Floral project you are eligible to enter your project HERE at the Beautiful Blossoms Challenge and you will qualify for an additional chance in our random drawing.

Double Trouble Challenge #161 - Pinch Proof

Once again I have the pleasure of joining the family at Double Trouble Challenge as a Crazy Cousin for Challenge #161.

The theme for this challenge is "Pinch Proof".

This Challenge runs from
Friday, March 1st thru Thursday, March 14th

THING  1:  Trouble Maker
says, "Did you know, as the tradition goes, wearing green on Saint Patrick's Day is supposed to make you invisible to leprechauns? They will pinch you as soon as you come upon their radar if you don't wear green!

"Ouch! Make yourself 'Pinch Proof' by using green in your project. Your project does not have to be for St. Patrick's Day... you may celebrate any occasion but you must use green as your main color."

You can stop here...
OR, play along with Twisted Sister's optional twist to earn another chance in our random draw.

THING  3:  Twisted Sister
says, "Good ole St. Paddy's Day is all about findin' the Pot o' Gold... be it in a pint o' beer, or at the end of a rainbow. My optional twist is to include a "touch o' gold" on your project plus one more item from our partner's Inspo List."

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw prize if you include gold.

THING  2:  Double Dare
says, "If you have met Thing 1's requirement to include green, have included a "touch o' gold" and have added one more Thing from the Festive Friday's Inspo List, you are eligible to enter your project HERE at Festive Friday's Challenge #154 and you will qualify for an additional chance in our random drawing."

Special Notes:  Festive Friday's Inspo List is to inspire you!  You need only to incorporate THREE of their items in your project and let your creativity flow! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about St. Patrick's Day – at all!  The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting project from their inspiration list!

Here is my "Pinch Proof" contribution as the March Crazy Cousin:
